Gorgeous desert hike. Loved it and beautiful . It is a hike up the mile to the top and you have to be ok scampering in rocks at times. But all the more fun for our kids

My wife and I are 55 and 56. We are in good shape and made the hike/climb just fine. It was easier than expected after reading many of the reviews. It’s a short strenuous hike/climb, but if you are in decent shape you can do...More

Had a great time on Cholla up to the summit. At 56 my husband and I are in pretty good shape. Climb was challenging since I’m not used to rock climbing. Just getting over the fear factor was huge. After the helicopter pad it does...More

Yes we saw that it is rated extremely dangerous and that is actually an UNDERSTATEMENT!! We are 50 year old hikers in good shape, and we were really shocked that this is considered a trail, or even legal in the US! It is extremely steep...More

We visited our son over Christmas. My wife had lost 50 pounds and I lost 70 so we were very excited about being able to climb mountains and enjoy the views and we WERE NOT disappointed. The views are beautiful.

What a great experience! Have to say that it is a challenging hike, but very doable, if you are in reasonable shape or take your time. You can get up and down in about 2.5 hours, so doesn't have to take all day. Highly recommended!

Tried to keep up with my teenage boys and should have known better. They are still laughing at me two days later! Beautiful scenery, saguaros, chollas, and all sorts of beautiful geology and walls to make a morning hike/run fantastic.

Take a morning walk to the top and see the area come alive before the heat gets to be too much. Lots to see and appreciate.
