Nice little lake

Passing through while birding. Pretty little lake and campgrounds. We ate our lunch there. There is a little store and bathrooms.

This is a great little fishing lake. It has boat rentals, a little store, great atmosphere, the water can be a little cold, so I dont swim, but it's great to relax and fish at. I'm sorry I didn't take photos. I'll make sure to get some next time.

Came here by mistake - I was looking for Garden Canyon and ended up at the lake. Drove up to the campsites where the view of the lake is really pretty. Then drove down to the boat ramp and the view was just as nice. The drive here is pretty long (but so worth it) and it's out in the... More

Well worth the drive (which is very scenic itself). The lake is off the beaten path but if you get that chance make it a destination. If you like camping then this would be a fantastic place to do it. There is a small store and lots of quiet and scenery.

Stopped here on a whim - so glad we did! The lake and surrounding area were absolutely beautiful! The lake is beautiful and popular with locals, but out of the way for most tourists. That makes it even better to get some relaxation without having EVERYBODY around you. It's not a 'close' lake...prepare to drive, and be prepared to pack... More

They have been working on roads outside the park but the rest of the roads in suck. Don't take a trailer longer than 28' as the roads have blind switchbacks and some drivers aren't nice. Plan to dry camp.

Just a one and a half to two hour drive south from Tucson via highway 83 and south through Sonoita, AZ, Parker canyon offers welcome respite from the desert heat in the summer. As you near Sonoita and south, keep your eyes peeled for Pronghorn antelope. During the winter, one often sees Bald Eagles or Peregrine Falcons, although I have... More

Nice place to be around water which is pretty rear here. Also the rental place got ONE paddle board! Which was a pure lack for me, it pretty much made my day! I believe they will improve this type of water activity. This is perfect place for SUP! Aloha!

This United States Forest Service site is very well developed and maintained. There is plenty of paved parking, clean bathrooms, and a beautiful hiking trail all the way around the lake.
