Definitely call in and do this walk - it is free and offers a chance to view the beautiful coastline on the south side of the island.

Great walk! Drive down from road as it's approx 4km. Single track in good condition. Take care if you have young children as there are many hazards. Amazing views! Take a picnic and savour this one. It's a short walk so easy for all levels...More

We were so glad we decided to do this walk! One of our highlights from the trip. Right up the top with the trench and Lalomanu beach. Short and sweet but very sweaty! Took us approximately an hour with stops for photos but we were...More

Beautiful place! You need to take into account long walking to get there and also the track itself is not well maintained. But at the same time it gives a unique charm to the whole experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed the coastal walk despite the heat! It showcase's the coastline which otherwise is quite hard to see or non-existent on most of the island. The waves crashing on the cliffs, funky rock formations like arch's and of course the lava rocks which...More

Definitely recommend the detour off the main road around the island to do this short walk. The scenery is stunning!! Our boys loved seeing the lava fields as did we. The coastal scenery is amazing with the waves crashing into the cliffs. Definitely would recommended...More

It's a great walk with spectacular views of the rugged coast on this part of the island. It was a highlight of the trip. We were lucky to arrive when it was open. The hours are not clear but apparently you can call ahead to...More

What stunning views! We loved watching the big ocean waves come crashing in. The natural rock archways are beautiful. The lava rock is fascinating. Beware the hole in the rock at the end of the walk. You can look down through it and see the...More
