The blowholes are quite a sight even after the ones I've seen in Tasmania. It was even better as I was the only visitor. But the sandroad is really bumpy and I was suprised that my car didn't break down on the way.

We decided to go see the blowholes , throw the Popo ( coconut) in a see what happens, we paid 5 tala to enter and drove the car around the bay , the sea was very calm so the blowholes were very low and weren't shooting into the sky like what was described by local family members overall it was... After reading previous TripAdvisor comments we were well armed and ready for the "coconut man" 20 Tala is what we paid and drove down to the blowhole. They were spectacular definitely better at a higher tide, we spent so much time just looking and watching in amazement at such a natural thing. The photos and videos came out fantastic, so... More

The "coconut man" as we found out later he is called...came and wanted into our car after we paid our $20T. He had to get into the car....so we let him and drove the short bit to the blow holes. He took his coconut shells and threw them into one of the holes and it shot out with all the... More

After seeing this on survivor I was like I have to see this! When we arrived my partner and I were blown away, this was such a historic and breath taking experience. We hunted down some coconuts and daringly tossed them in to the blow holes and watched them sore into the sky, We caught the ferry from Apia to... More

We had a lot of fun with this attraction. Bring some coconuts (unless you want to pay the old man who will carry the coconuts for you and throw them in the blow hole..he's good, but he's also the only Samoan who was too pushy)
