The glacier itself isn't as exciting as others in Argentina (like Perito Moreno), but it is neat to see a glacier, and the panoramic views of Ushuaia and the Beagle Channel are breathtaking. Take the chairlift up if it's an option, as there's lots of hiking to be done around the glacier, and it's not worth it to waste your... More

Our guide Ignacio was amazing. You could tell from first hello that our hike will be memorable. Perfect day in beautiful Ushuaia and Ignacio made sure that we had the best time possible. His English was perfect, he was so knowledgeable, we have learned a lot about flora and fauna along the way. And local Bernese puppy accompanied us all... More

Any person that would like to have a complete experience in Ushuaia, knowing hidden places with responsible and professional guides, shall know this is the very best option for sure !!!! Beautiful -but sometimes dangerous- places require the company of these experienced young men to make it safe and enjoyable. Hope you have a great trip !!!!!

I visited this place in May and it was closed. You need to hire a taxi from Ushuaia to visit this place as I didn't find any bus service. The journey takes you up and up till you reach the foothills of the glacier and from there it was a very steep climb over rocky unpaved areas. The Cable Car service... More

A must do activity if you are visiting Ushuaia! Its a glacier and its in the southernmost reaches of the world in Patagonia/Tierra del Fuego! What more can you say! Its a pretty good work out especially the beginning part of the trail and just a small part at the end where it gets a little steep. Thirty minutes into... More

I went there with a friend. The way up to the mountain was hard, but good. Don´t take just the Street, go there by side paths, it´s more adventuress. When you go back down, there is a good way for bikes left of the Street.

So it's a fairly decent walk but the view from the top was definitely worth it. Some slippery snow crossings to navigate but they're manageable

We packed a lunch and took a $10US taxi form town up to the trailhead. Its offers ski runs in winter and hiking in summer. Took us 2 hours to get to the glacier, and its a moderate hike. Going to the top of the trail can be hard for those not in shape, but you can stop and return... More
