We saw the "lighthouse at the end of the world" from our Celebrity cruise ship. It is very pretty spot. The ship could not get that close but with glasses we could see it clearly. Photos do not do justice!

so called the most southerly light house in the world - guess they forgot about the one at cape horn then> But probably one of the most photographed lighthouses in the world you will see it as part of the beagle channel trip and defiantly worth a photo or two

So you take the classic boat ride, you get to see the sea lions ( Lots of them) and be ready for your picture of the lighthouse. If in season definately go to see the penguins ( It has to be in the summer months for the southern hemisphere...)

This lighthouse can only be seen when you take a boat tour (tres marias would be the recommendation). It is not possible to disembark on the island where the lighthouse is, but still nice to see it from the boat.

Even if it is not "The lighthouse at the end of the World" it does a pretty good job as a stand-in. Reached as part of a Beagle Channel cruise, it makes a pretty photo with the channel and snow capped mountains behind. Part of the Beagle Channel experience, rather than a destination in its own right.

a 30 minute boat ride from the main pier, this lighthouse is primarily interesting by the amount of fauna it seems to call it home. From many types of birds, to sea lions, its an excellent excursion and one not to miss.

Took a catamaran tour aboard the "Ushuaia Explorer" from Ushuaia to Tierra del Fuego National Park. On the way we went around this lighthouse and I was able to take some stunning photos with the mountains and Ushuaia in the background. There were many sea lions nearby and the captain did a good job of getting us close in order... More

We hired a Beagle Bay trip that was supposed to go to the light house. It turned out the waters were too rough and we weren't able to make it all the way to the lighthouse. We did visit beautiful islands with sea lions and cormorants.

The lighthoust itselft is not impressive, only the stories about it can make you travel in your head. You may see sea lions around it
