The water is unbelievably beautiful. The color is so unusual. Nice for a walk to see the wildlife and enjoy the outdoors

No one will belive you if you just tell them the water colour, so make sure you take several photos to show them. Pick a tour to Walichu Point to have a good look from up high.

It is enough to see it from the bus and from El Calafate. It is big lake wit nice mountain range in the back. That's about it.

This is the largest lake in Argentina, it's beautiful blue color comes from sediment suspended in the water. There are smallish icebergs floating around. Enjoy views of the glacier while on a boat ride.

We took a boat to Estancia Christina and passed gorgeous turquoise icebergs on the way. The wind was extreme at times -- couldn't go out in back because it was too windy and the water was coming up over the sides, but once it calmed down, everyone was watching the gorgeous ice bergs. An amazing way to get up close... More

Huge lake, you an view it from El Calafate, from the plane, from a ride to elsewhere, sailing through it... never you mind, it's awesome from anywhere you look at it!

Do not forget to watch below when you are landing to Calafate from the plane. It is an amazing lake with 'glacier milk' color.
