This is well worth a detour, especially between Oct - Apr, when the penguins are ashore. The drive down to the penguin viewpoint, and beyond to the sea lion viewpoint is stunning. The steppe gives way to a dramatic and beautifully eroded sci-fi landscape. Drive...More

Wow. This is absolutely a must-visit place in Patagonia to experience flora and fauna. We happened this way by chance due to an airline strike, and still can't believe our luck. The penguin trail is incredible. It is a short walk out to the lookout....More

Park Monte Leon must be seen when travelling in the South of Patagonia. On your way spend a night and enjoy dinner at estancia Doraike next door. Both amazing !
