Walking around the centro civico on a Saturday you get a glimpse into the culture of Bariloche. We saw wood carvers and an elf talking pictures with children. Worth a visit if in Bariloche.

A square with a lovely view of the lake. A St Bernhardt dog is always available to be photographed with - with the lake in the background. The day we were in town there was a lovely street market with many stalls selling local goodies....More

An interesting square to visit to view architecture. Peddlers promoting tourist photos detracted from enjoyment.

It's the city center of Bariloche and a plaza faced Lago Nahuel Huapi, backed by three beautiful buildings. One of them is Patagonia museum, one of them is visitor center and the final one is a police department. Some local people will bring their St....More

The centro civico is a nice spot, with good view... but there is nothing really to do there unless you want your picture taken with a san bernardo. There is an information office though that is worth checking before choosing your activities in bariloche....

This is the best way to enter central Bariloche. As soon as you are through the portals, you find yourself in a very interesting, if somewhat touristy, pedestrian street (that is still being completed at this writing). Central Bariloche is a mix of local business...More

A very quaint spot in the city, it has a nice natural / historical museum and the turism office, where you can get good info from the kind staff.
