Took the cable car and although a little expensive at about US$27 a head the views are awesome. Couldn't get into the cafe as a long queue was lined up and didn't have time to wait. Not much to do up there other than admire the views. I guess that's why it goes up there!!

We opted for the cable car/gondola up the mountain as we had already caught the public bus out but the walk up sounds better. The gondola was quite expensive at 35 NZD/ 25USD, but view was great at the top. I recommend walking to the higher look out outside of the patrolled area to the left of the restaurant for... More

We may have been very lucky with the weather as it was extremely sunny and clear but the views are well worth going for. Would advice using the free dedicated bus that offers transfers from the town to the bottom of the cable car on an hourly basis as it is infinitely more sensible than walking there along a rather... A nice little hike for an afternoon in Bariloche. You can either walk up the gravel road for 7km with a gradual incline (starting at Km 1). Or take the direct walking route 2km up on a pretty steep incline the whole way (from Km 4). Or you can take the chairlift :). The view up the top is really... More

Windy and snowy on the day of our visit, so the cold was unbearable despite our proper clothes. The climb up the cable car was a bit cold, but the view is really beautiful and worth it.

Nice hike near the city center. Rather than hitting the rotating restaurant, we went to the refugio. Beautiful view, and the food was pretty good. Decent beer selection too.

We went to Cerro Otto by car driving the winding breathtaking scenic road. From the Top we had 360 grade view of Bariloche area. Outstanding ride, do not miss it. A must to see.

This restaurant is amazing for its view. You can see the mountains and it is very very beauyiful but be prepare just for it. The service is not not that good and the food is poor. Nothing there is really tasty but it is worth for the landscape.

You take the red teleferico and after 11 minutes arrive on the mountain top where you will find a restaurant that rotates, gift shops, clean restrooms, an art exhibit and hiking routes - something for everyone!
