Tour starts at Petunia’s harbor, then we sail along Brazo Campanario to Huemul Island. If climatic circumstances allow us, we go to the open lake. In Puerto Bueno, a beautiful and peaceful place, we do a stop to have a drink (tea/coffee /mate/ soft drink) with a snack. A divine afternoon strolling through the lakes on a sailing boat with the family. Thanks Cami for the good vibes! The bite is very delicious and the landscapes are incredible, what a beautiful country we have :)

This was an awesome experience. Although the day was a bit chilly we truly enjoyed ourselves. It was so peaceful sailing and seeing all the beautiful sites from the water. What really made it a special experience was Camila and Sebastian. They were so engaging and so accommodating. We can’t thank them enough for such a great experience. The charcuterie board was great and the wine was very good. All in all an enjoyable and wonderful experience not to be missed

Having Mario and Carolina as guides was a huge reason why I had such a great time on my Velero Orgullloso sailing trip. They explained in English and Spanish what to expect during the excursion. They had jackets for passengers that got cold and a hot drink and small snack. During the sailing trip make sure to put your personal items in a secure place. My friends cell phone ended up getting wet when it fell out of her bag during the sailing trip.
It was easy to get to the the sailboat from Bariloche. I can't remember which bus it was, but I took it along the lake to 13.5 km, where there is the campground called Petunia and a small bridge. There you walk down the driveway through the campground to the beach and you come to a small dock and a few anchored boats next to the shore. Orgulloso was on the dock and left promptly as soon every one arrived.
If you are interested in driving the boat, let Mario know and he'll let you try steering!

We had such a lovely, relaxing afternoon with Daniel and Santiago. A beautiful sail across the lake and good company. Highly recommend this trip. It was one of the best things we did in Bariloche.

Something about being on the water that makes it all special....different view and perspective, serene backdrop for reflection, fresh air and exhilaration. Throw in the beautiful Orgulloso, Carolina's hospitality (and excellent English😉!), the views of Bariloche, perfect weather and you have found paradise!! Thank you to Carolina, Santiago (and Ivo at the Charming who recommended!) for a perfect day! Highly recommend this excursion to any visitor to Bariloche!

My husband and i did this sailing excursion along with 2 other couples, and had a great time! Carolina was easy to coordinate with, and she and Mario did a great job manning the sailboat. We met some great people, had amazing medialunas, and enjoyed some stunning views of Bariloche and its surroundings. Highly recommended if you enjoy being on the water!! Gracias Carolina y Mario!!

Both my husband & I sail a lot so we were excited to know there's sailing excursion available in Bariloche to sail Lake Nahuel Huapi. Carolina the owner & captain Mario are excellent, Mario has been sailing since he was a kid & also teaches in sailing school in Bariloche. My husband was steering most of the journey due to his experience but another couple who never sailed also tried the helm. Weather was great, we chatted a lot with Carolina & Mario. Overall it was great experience & we highly recommend this excursion as not only you will be provided with superb service by great hosts but also to enjoy Bariloche from different perspective. Thanks Carolina & Mario!!

Thanks to Velero el Orgulloso we had a fabulous 3 hours of sailing.
The owners were courteous, informed and happy to share information about Bariloche, the boat and Argentina.
The boat ride itself was definitely more than an relaxing float. We sped across the lake at an exciting pace.
We had a great snack that consisted of Mate and medialunas which is very typical to Argentina.
Would highly recommend this to anyone who is into sailing and visiting Bariloche.

I'd always wanted to sail the Nahuel Huapi. On this visit to Bariloche, we found the Orgulloso and chartered a cruise on the lake. My daughter and I were joined by a Brazilian couple. We left Puerto Petunia with Skipper Mario and Owner Carolina - and a tidily reefed mainsail, for when we left the shelter of the bay we met a stiff 20 knot (gusts up to 30? felt like it) breeze that zipped us across the lake to the other shore.
Into another sheltered bay, a little relax time and a snack and mate (other options available). Then, back.
Delightful afternoon in which you can get the flavor of sailing this ice-blue freshwater sea with all its majestic, beautiful surrounding landscapes and it's intense character.
No nickel and diming. A fully certified boat - well equipped for pleasure and safety.
Definite do if you love being on the water and a unique perspective on the Andes.

We went out on the water with Carolina and Mario today and had a wonderful time. We had great conversations about life, fishing, the areas around us, and Argentine history! It was a perfect morning with great hosts on a gorgeous day. We highly recommend going out with them during your stay in Bariloche :)
