    Nice drive and beautiful scenery
Nice short drive around the area. There are places to stop and hike, beautiful outooks (like Punta Panoramic-wow). We were staying nearby and using this route quite a few times to reach different locations. We also hiked 2 of the trails including Sendero Arranje. Disappointed that most of the birds seems to have migrated south as it was end of summer.

Must Do Bariloche’s First Impression Tour
Cenic views of the “Cerros” and local nature. Try to do it in the afternoon for clearer skies during winter season. We recommend renting a car to have more flexibility about the stops and time but in case you are not familiar with the area, there are several travel agencies that offer “Circuito Chico” with vans or buses.

    Beautiful But Challenging on Bike!!!
My husband and I biked a portion of Circuito Chico and while I have absolutely no complaints about the process of rental, the views or any of the stops along the way, I feel like I need to put it out there that this is a difficult path to bike. I consider myself in relatively good shape and most of the first part of this path is almost entirely uphill and it is STEEP. Please don't let that be a deterrent from seeing the circuit but just choose your mode of travel knowing that. I ended up having to walk my bike up some of the parts - which would have been challenging without a bike but much easier to just walk not having to push the bike with me! Definitely stop at Punto Panoramico and Patagonia for a beer! Going back the other way was MUCH easier as it was a lot of downhill :)

This short road trip is worth doing. The outlook at Punto Panoramica is breathtaking, and not 59 meters away in the restaurant of the same same. Great food, great views.

Brilliant and well worth it! Amazing area and there are heaps of trails to explore along the way. We completed the entire circuit so didnt get off for any walks but would have loved to have had an extra day to go back for some walks!

A very nice circuit. There are hidden paths you may explore. Wear tennis shoes or mountain shoes cause it’s forest and mountain.
You may go by car not leaving values inside.
Then, all that paths are for walking.

We rode the circuit just days before Argentina went into lockdown, but after the nearby National Park was closed. Some of the steeper hills are very tough if (like me) you’re not used to mountainous climbs. However, the numerous viewpoints are breathtaking and the thrill of freewheeling down at (breakneck) speed more than made up for the climbs. The road surface was quite rough in parts, but as motorists are clearly used to cyclists weaving along in front of them, it was as safe as it gets.
