Historic site amazing architecture from the 19th century. Of note is all the woodwork made out of cardón wood, a protected species of desert cactus. The ironwork is also late 19th century. This house was the site where a group of nationalists declared independence from...More

A very interesting and informative place. Well worth the visit with artifacts and the room in which the declaration of Argentina was signed 9 July 1816.

I liked the simplicity of this museum. All very well explained in concise yet informative signs. A thorough tour should take 1 to 1.5 hours tops. Great back patio to sit down and enjoy.

Nice and worthy visit to one of the iconic historic places of Argentina. The house and museum were renovated for the bicentenary of the country. It is a nice an quite short visit to get a better impression of the declaration of independence!

The dawn of Argentina country were very difficult , to the point that independence was declared in a family home. Do not miss this.

It never hurts to learn a little about history and that's exactly what you can get during a short visit at this museum. The creation of Argentina is well presented in the exact place where it happened. Texts are in Spanish only but quite understandable...More
