The view of the sierra of 14 colors is impressive. The gravel road (ripio) is not bad and the direction to Hornocal is well signaled. Just take it easy and enjoy the landscape, vicunas and guanacos while driving up. 4350 m of altitude is not...More

The trip is long and it is high up, but this is the must see. Amazing, if you feel okay take that small walk down it is worth it. Our kids 4 and 6 walked up and down without problems.

Great experience, esp. driving up with a jeep and hardly any walking involved (= anyone can do it). Bring some coca leaves against altitude sickness.

This is a spectacular place to visit when you are travelling through the area. Take a local guide up to the viewing point and just marvel at the site scene. Early afternoon may be the best time of day for photos.
