After a long and bumpy ride taking us to 15,000 feet elevation we saw the 27 color hills!! What an incredible site!

Spend a day or more touring this spectacular area. The colors of nature on on full display and will be evident at every turn. Photos just don’t do justice to the beauty you’ll find here.

We were a bit reluctant to go, as the weather wasn’t good and we had already seen so much beautiful rock formations and colours the past few days. It is quite a drive, but was worth it. Beautiful few, even without sun / with cloudy...More

Beautiful scenery and at Tilcara there is a pre-colombian village in an area which has been inhabited for about 10,000 years.

Charming market town with colonial flair. Northern Argentina town with a nice square and fine shops for gifts.

The Humahuaca Valley (Quebrada de Humahuaca) is a dramatic drive through varied landscapes. Highlights include the multicolored landscapes of the Painter's Pallette at Maimara (Paleta de Pintor) and the Seven Colours Hill (Cerro de los Siete Colores) at Purmamarca. Other highlights were the arcaeological site...More

If you are in the north west of Argentina. This drive is must. You can stop over in 3 small villages. Purmamarca a small but touristic village. Tilcara a bigger village with few interesting treks. My favourite Humahuaca. Love this place. Quaint. Not as dusty...More
