Booked through Salt River Tubing which was a fine establishment. They were fast, fairly priced, and had us on/off the shuttle very quickly. The river itself is interesting... the scenery was great, but the amount of trash was troubling. The air boat cops sure did...More

There's nothing like spending an afternoon in a lazy river. I would definitely recommend tying a couple tubes together and speanding the day. Be careful at the end when you get up. It was rocky and I didn't have shoes and I dropped my sunglasses...More

Did this once before about 8 years ago. Had a good time both times. Very relaxing and a good time to cool off in hot and sunny Arizona. Would do it again in a heartbeat

This would be my fourth time down the Salt River and each and every time I enjoy the trip. Before you start your float, just remember that there is no place to keep your keys. I suggest you buy ahead of time a waterproof container...More

This was a nice relaxing 3 hour float. Had tunes and drinks just floating. Got to see Bald Eagles, coyotes and a random donkey. Later on the bus ride back, the driver told there is an Eagle perserve nearby. Lots of signs to tell you...More

As a Mesa resident we have been tubing down the Salt River for a number of years. Twelve of the family went and we rented the tubes and bus ride to and back from the river. We did tie our tubes together and float the...More

We have been down the river twice both with a small group (about 4 people) and had a blast every time. We went when there were a decent amount of people but it was overbearing. I mean it's a river but I never saw anything...More

Never seen anyone bring their own tubes when riding the bus. However if you take two cars you can take your own tubes. Much easier to park at the Salt River Tube and rent theirs.

Depending on their age and how well they swim it's a maybe. I saw some people there with young kids but I would say at least 10+ w/ a life vest at minimum. Try going on an adult trip first to get the feel, if you do bring... More
