First off, they were understaffed when we arrived. Then we were disappointed that there wasn't a driving range (despite seeing on the Internet that there is one). We were told that they used to have two driving ranges, but housing developments took them over. They have a very large putting green instead. The grass on the tee boxes and fairways... More

The golf course was in below average condition considering the green fees paid. The tee boxes and fairways need some work. The greens were actually in decent condition compared to the rest of the course. I would definitely not recommend playing this course especially if you have other golf options in the East Valley.

Met a group of ladies for lunch, had a separate room, as at least 25 of us to serve. Several waitresses took the orders, but 4 orders did not come out of the kitchen with the others, took another 15 minutes, by then most were done eating. Right up front we were told we had to be out of there... More

Price for half rack of ribs was the same as a full rack at other restaurants. Server said the ribs were their specialty. Yes, they did fall off the bone, but did not have any flavor unless dipped in the BBQ sauce which was good. Salad bar was primarily head lettuce, not quality greens you would expect from a high... The fairways for the most part were open and quite forgiving. Hazards could be easily avoided and traps had decent sand if you did find yourself in one. The biggest obstacle would be the houses on both sides of some fairways as those were narrow and by the high fences in many backyards along with the warning signs about damage... More

Awesome golf course - friendly staff. Course was in great shape and the price was even better. They have a special golf package - 18 holes and a steak dinner, can't beat that.

This is a pleasant course to play to build your confidence. It is very forgiving as the hazards can be avoided on many holes. You don't have to be a target golfer to play here. The staff is friendly and you get off on time. I think you will enjoy the course as it won't beat you up!

We were extremely disappointed in our visit. We had to wait a long time each time we ordered something, the prices on the menu were deceptively listed with the intent that you would assume the item was less expensive, or they put it in such tiny print at the bottom of the page that you couldn't read it, happy hour... Painted Mountain Golf Resort is also a Timeshare. I have no info on their Time Share other than I have played Golf with Guests who have stayed there and they have had good comments about the Facility. This Course is reasonable close to our home in Mesa, so I do enjoy a membership there and I play it quite often.... More

We played here in March 2015. We were disappointed. The course is very short and houses are in play off the tee. There was a sign on the 3rd tee box saying if you hit someone or a house with a ball you were liable. My suggestion is to hit an iron off the tee or golf with a good... More
