Matias of Vitis travel arranged a private tasting at this bodega. We tasted several of their good wines in their beautiful tasting room. These wines were so economically priced that we inquired about shipping some home. The shipping made it too expensive. Sadly we will not be able to buy these delicious wines in Michigan.

Bodega Atamisque near Tupungato on the edge of the Uco Valley was a memorable wine experience. The garden, vistas and tranquility complemented the architecture and layout of the winery.
Dina, our host was engaging and informative, her technical knowledge and experience made the final tasting very rewarding.
The malbec, cabernet franc and especially the espumantes - sparkling wines were excellent.

Highly recommended for serious and new wine enthusiasts

Bodega Atamisque is in a lovely location. We enjoyed a winery tour and a tasting with generous pours of four wines. The restaurant was excellent, offering a four course lunch menu with paired wines. We appreciated that there were fish options on the menu, featuring trout from the bodega’s trout farm. They even have a 9-hole golf course if you play golf.

Stopped here while wine tasting in the area. It got great reviews, so we were excited. That didn't last long. They take you on a LONGGGG tour of everything, including the shipping department! And they don't give you much wine during the tour. The lady that did the tour was quite difficult to understand (we are americans, but speak spanish) and was not very knowledgeable about wine or the wine making process. Once we FINALLY got to the tasting room, it turned out to be pretty bland. Not much fun there. And to top the whole thing off, the wine is only OK. We couldn't find one that we wanted to buy. The whole thing was a disappointment.

We got there in time and the tour had already started. Wine was good, but really expensive for buying a bottle.

We visited Atamisque at the excellent suggestion of the folks who organized our visit to Valle de Uco. It seems that everyone flocks to one of the better known wineries, such as Salentein or Bousquet, making this an easier site to visit. Be warned that they are not particularly easy to find, being some 500 m off the main road, with just a small sign indicating them.

Atamisque, named after a local bush, is owned by a French corporation. This fact is witnessed by the impressive building housing the bodega, which blends colonial Spanish and contemporary design.

We liked the site itself, the wine they produce, and the tasting. The visit itself was unremarkable. Regarding the tasting, unlike other wineries we reviewed, they offered visitors the option of paying just for the visit (about $5, if I remember correctly), or have three different tasting experiences. Being light drinkers, we paid for one visit and the top tasting, which was perfect for us. As an added bonus, our guide gave us a round of their sparkling wine, on the house. It was so unique we ended up buying a bottle of that as well – in addition to some bottles of regular wine.

Even though we are comfortable with Spanish, we had a difficult time understanding our guide (the other visitors were all locals). But she very thoughtful and always answered our (many) questions.

This is a lovely boutique Bodega in an 700 hectare land. Joana was our guide and she was great the visit is not too long but one should not expect that in a small place. The tasting was great and their wines are excellent! Would recommend to anyone visiting Mendoza.

Despite being mid winter the weather was warm and the tour was interesting. The Bodega was quiet in the low season but the wines were some of the best we tasted on our Uco Valley tour. The tasting room has a back drop to the Andes and can easily distract you from the tasting talk !!

Don't listen to those who say Argentinians can't do white wine, the Serbal was spectactular !!

Went here as part of the Ampora wine tour. This winery is on beautiful grounds. The facility has a mix of modern and classic architecture and looks nice inside and outside.
The tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable, but I felt she was speaking quickly from a memorized script and kind of rushed the tour along. Part of the tour was sampling Malbec right from the tap from the vat, that was really neat to taste the in progress version before the wine is done.
We tasted 5 wines: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, sparkling wine, Cabernet Sauvignon and Assemblage. All the wines were good and the sparkling wine was probably the best sparkling I’ve ever had! Water and crackers accompanied the tasting.

We had a personalized tour at Atamisque. Joanna walked us through the winery and a tasting of mostly icon wines. Their Petit Verdot is an amazing find.
