    A memorable family experience…
Our experience in Mendonça was memorable thanks to Vitis Travel, this is a tourism company in Mendonza, which helped us on tours in this city and which I highly recommend. Www.vitistravel.tur.ar. phone 54 9 2615126131. Matias, its owner, speaks Portuguese perfectly and surprised us in every way with his professionalism, assistance and competence… He selected wonderful wineries with divine services, views and wines… On our trip to Aconcagua we had an incident where the professionalism of Matias and his team's service materialized. They dedicated themselves to serving us and overcoming the moment of adversity, accompanying us in finding solutions aimed at our return to Brazil. I highly recommend the company and the entire team. Thank you for everything Matias!!!

    Full-day tour through the mountains
In addition to visiting and tasting the wineries, it is interesting to discover the mountains accessible from Mendoza. A full-day tour allows you to see a little more of the region, with emphasis on the view of Aconcagua, from Lake Horcones, and the peculiar rock formation of Puente del Inca. It's worth it for anyone who has a day to spare.

It's worth leaving Mendoza early to go to Lake Potrerillos, have coffee in Uspallata on the way, go straight to the park and pay the entrance fee and walk to the foot of Aconcagua, you have to have a good coat due to the wind and thermal sensation, stunning landscapes and unique, 1 hour to go to the permitted end and 1 hour to return, lots of photos and stops to admire the immensity of nature! On the way back, stop at “poente del inca” which has souvenir shops, return to Uspallata and have lunch, return in the afternoon to Mendoza, for a day in contact with nature! It is worth it

It is majestic to be able to walk and enter the winding paths towards Aconcagua. I recommend at least entering a few meters into the Provincial Park, for a short and free walk. Then, another option is to buy the ticket for the Laguna de Horcones trail, which allows you to reach a bridge, allowing you to better appreciate the area. Of course, it requires a walk of a couple of hours, which is not complicated in itself, but it is uphill (200 meters uphill).

    Wonderful!
What a wonderful and unmissable tour. The road is already a spectacle in itself. We hired a driver (Roteiros em Mendoza/Victoria) to take us. We passed by Dique Potrerillos, Puente Del Inca, Uspallata and Aconcagua Park. The park is beautiful, it was covered in snow!

    I would return
I was only in one sector and for a short time because it was managed by the excursion, but there is a certain organization (which is usually lacking in provincial parks). Good signage and beautiful views. I would return without a doubt, but in spring/summer.

Stunning place. As I was going in the winter and with little time, I was only able to go to the visitor center's viewpoint, but I plan to return in the summer to walk the park's trails. The feeling of being so close to Aconcagua is incredible.

    Majestic
It is a must stop. It's lovely. We went from Mendoza by bus and bought the ticket to do the day trek through Horcones Valley to Confluencia camp for approximately 4 hours. We went in March and it was a little cold. For me the climb was quite forced but the majestic views compensate for the effort.

Most of the excursions that take you to the mountain by mendoza, do not stop here because it does not give them the time, when we go by car, we made the time, It was a if or if for us. Luckily we had brought out the tickets before, because they are only sold online that it is not good to hook data there. The day was just cloudy and we could not see the top of the aconcagua, but the walk through the park, through the center of the valley, was spectacular. We went to the viewpoint and stayed there (1 hour approx). My children, all large, continued for another hour to the suspension bridge. I'll be back, I've got the top to see. There aren't too many people, they don't promote it too much and it's spectacular.

    Some great scenery
This is a very good place to visit with some easy walking trails to see some wonderful mountains. You can of course walk for many hours into the park but most people just spend a few hours here on a circular route. The day we went it was very windy so come prepared for a variety of seasons. I'm sure that this can get crowded on times but we were lucky and there weren't that many people here when we visited. It's a reasonable drive from Mendoza to get here but well worth the visit.

We arrived around 13:00 o clock following a plan made roughly nine months ago. We took a plane from Buenos Aires to Mendoza very early in the morning, then a ride directly from the airport and finally we arrived to our well planned in advance destination.
We wanted to do a full day trek to Confluencia, which is the first camp, only 3 hours away from the entrance to the park. To out total surprise the only option we had of visiting anything inside the Aconcagua Park, was a short 45 minutes walk to the Laguna and the suspended bridge. Apparently if you want to visit anything else, you have to enter the park between 8 and 11 in the morning. The only way to do this is it come directly from Mendoza and leave as early as 5 in the morning in order to make it.
Maybe the problem comes from the fact that the park closes at 6PM but that is not such a big surprise if you consider that most activity in Mendoza comes to a complete stop between 12 and 17 hours. In the summer months the sun shines until 9PM so you may wander why it would close up so early...
Anyhow, we read a few blogs before coming there and none of them mentioned this tight 8-11 AM schedule. The lady employee also had a crappy attitude saying we should of read that info on the official site but to be honest such a site is hard to find, unless you use for search those exact words: Aconcagua official site...

No doubt it's a beautiful trekking path to make. Just for your information, in February 2020, for one foreigner visitor, one day, the trekking pass costs 1500 AR$.

If you really enjoy trekking, worth it. We (male, 27 and 29, no particular training) made the round-trip to Confluenzia in 4 hours and 30 minutes, including photos and lunch break. About 450m D+. Difficulty : easy to moderate.

One more piece of advice : take something to cover your mouth and nose, the place can get windy, ground is kind of dusty, and you might encounter da rude sandstorm.

Climbing the highest mountain of the Americas has been an amazing experience! The start of the trek is already at around 3000 meters where you have beautiful vistas of the Andes, so even if you do not want to go all the way to 6962 meters, you can still do amazing treks around the base of Aconcagua. Helping me achieve my dream of climbing Aconcagua has been AMG (Aconcagua Mountain Guides). They really go above and beyond for you to have an experience of a life time! Apart from expeditions to the summit, they also cater for shorter treks to the base camps, where you have beautiful views of Aconcagua and the surrounding area. So, I would definitely recommend going to Aconcagua National Parc using AMG either for a trek or an expedition!

We don't usually get guides/drivers, but this is a long drive, and a good driver is worth it. Several sites to see on the way up, good places for an inexpensive lunch. Color on the iron oxide mountains are just beautiful! And the square rock faces on the left on the way up are interesting. Inca ruins right off the road. Hike to the lagoon t the top takes maybe 20 min but we are fast walkers. Hope for a clear day!!

Amazing. The weather was great. There are a variety of hikes from 1.5 hours to 11 hours (return). Something for everyone. The short trail is easily hike-able by almost anyone.
BEWARE: If you go on your own, make sure you find out how to register in advance, ESPECIALLY if you don't speak Spanish. Luckily our driver was able to get our entrance tickets for us. (See review of Blue Valley Mendoza Tours for a review of an awesome tour guide) The mountains are stunning and the trails well maintained.

The place is impressive, it had snowed a lot the previous weekend and we could only take photos from almost the entrance! But the mountain is impressive! The only thing that is criticizable is that the park's website asks to buy tickets in advance, when you arrive and no one asks for them; Furthermore, with so much snow you can't do much more than take a photo, there is no infrastructure whatsoever, the bathrooms don't even work, they send you to the gendarmerie post which is a few km ahead. Whoever manages this park should do something else!

If one is visiting Mendoza for the wineries, then try to take a break with a visit to Aconcagua. You will not be disappointed. Yes, it is a long drive, but one that is scenic, beautiful vistas, and close to 3hrs to the foot of the Andes, it is well worth it.
We were in Mendoza for 3 days, the 1st day visiting the wineries, 2nd to Aconcagua, and 3rd day back to visiting the wineries.

Once you get to the park, the altitude is around 3000 meters, and one can take an approx hour long trek, just at the foothills - was breathtaking, we were not seasoned enough to to trek to the Base Camp. It is well worth a visit for the scenery.
On the return journey back to Mendoza, we stopped to visit the Hanging Bridge, we were Wowwed, simply beautiful!!!.

Oh my goodness. I was thinking… 3 hour drive from Mendoza. Then 2 hour hike, and 3 hours to return. Too much driving, right?! Wrong!!! Once you are about 45 minutes out of Mendoza, you are in for an incredible experience. The views are unlike any thing I’ve ever seen.
Once you arrive (bring a coat!), you are in for a truly spiritual experience. Take the walk… take your time… consider all that you see and it’s reflection of an amazing Artist. Sing a song. Reflect on poetry. You’re in a magical place.
Then enjoy the return journey. You will see multitudes of colors and sites. Maybe hire a driver, so you can focus the beauty around you.

Place is spectacular. But the local guide is extremely rude. He asked, shouting, “if we didn’t know how to read?” after entering a place without a fence and without its presence providing guidance. Shouting, we were chased away. Unfortunate. When we responded in kind, she called the local security guards to intimidate our guide. The situation caused by the CINTIA guide is embarrassing.

It does not seem fair to me that there is not a greater presence of park guards indicating that people are missing, that the path is not respected, that when you reach the viewpoint you enter into areas that are not allowed, excuse me but one cannot just go around indicating since they are received insults from the visitor, how can you get involved..... then let it be free for everything and that everyone can take a photo wherever they want and if they get into an accident or whatever, each visitor is responsible. Then we complain in this case to the guides that we do not communicate how the management is and when we tell them, look, they are not complying, they only say that there is no personnel to exercise authority and worse, one looks like an idiot, and a liar to the contingent. .....
