If you know nothing about how wine is made, you will get the process explained with ease. We however have visited numerous vineyards around the world so we were interested in the specifics of this winery. Our host looked after us and chatted as if we were old friends while still describing the culture and ethos of this small and... More

Caelum was stop #3 on our full day wine tour with Ampora Wine tours. Like the previous two wineries, we tasted 4 wines here; a rosè (I brought home two bottles!), a chardonnay, cab sav, and malbec. All we excellent. This winery has more modern vibe, especially in design. Loved the property and our host.

We stopped at this very small bodega last minute, unplanned before leaving Mendoza. We were attended to by a wonderful young lady (sorry I forgot her name). It was a Saturday morning and we were the only ones there. She assumed that by this time we had done enough tours already so told us to ask questions about things we... More

We were in Mendoza for only 2 1/2 days and although there are some very large wineries we opted to visit much smaller wineries for a more intimate experience. We were not disappointed! The winery is very small, but produces a number of wines including reserve wines. Our hostess was laid back and instead of insisting on us tasting very... More

We drove past this vineyard after all the others were either closed or needed a reservation. Being nosey, we decided to chance our arm and check the place out. We were greeted by such a friendly host (can't remember her name and she was one of the owners). They seemed to be closing for the day and she still gave... More

The vineyard only produced c.3000 bottle per year - in total - half of which are for export, so if you want a truly unique, boutique experience of fantastic wines - this is your place. It's a small operation, so don't expect a lot of luxury - just simply delicious, batch produced wines. You'll walk away scratching your head as... More

A very nice lady took us around and showed us her wines. Personally I did not found them extraordinary, would rate them as good. They do have 500ml bottles of sweet wines which are selected by hand and the grapes are let to dry as you dry clothes of a wire. This are hand selected grapes that create a very... More

The owners showed us around and gave us a really informative talk. His English was superb and even though we have visited many wineries around the world we still learnt more. Also the wines were superb, all we need now is for them to get a UK agent so that we can enjoy them at home!!

Caelum was part of our wine tour in Mendoza. We went to Catena which was nice, but I have to say that I liked Caelum much better. It's small, but the tasting was fantastic. The staff took their time explaining all the different wines and grapes. The tasting groups were small and they delivered my wine to my hotel in... More

Excellent wines and people over at Caelum. I strongly recommend you insist Hernán (one of the owners) to perform a Luis Miguel song. If you get lucky and he agrees to it, you'll agree with me that he is one of the best troubadors in Argentina!
