This is probably the most modern and interesting piece of architecture in Cordoba, right next to the railway station. As I was here on a weekend, I don't know if you can visit the inside, but the outside is interesting and a good photo op; especially with the modern Puente Del Bicentenario right outside.

Jutting out of the ground like the monolith at the beginning of 2001 A Space Odyssey this interesting building certainly attracts your attention. Located in a neighborhood of abandoned factories, depressing vacant lots, train cars destined for the scrap heap and a derelict railway station the government has taken a risky step to start a revitalization by erecting this expensive, exotic, dice roll of a state office building. On one hand, you gotta admire this bold stab at a new beginning for the once bustling but now decrepit area but on the other hand, you have to wonder if this was the best way to spend the taxpayers money. Time will tell...I hope it pays off.

We saw this place lit up at night and it looked quite nice with all the lights. We walked back to the area during the day to check it out as we were staying nearby. It is quite an interesting design, but apart from that, not really much else to see.
