I thought I forgot to take photos during the tour because I was enjoying it. The guide was very informative and the collections were very special. The guide even took us to some rooms exclusive for their tours.

It is well worth taking a guided tour of Cordoba university. For only 50 pesos (about 80p) you will spend an hour and a half being shown around the Jesuit area and the university learning about Argentine history and how the university was founded. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and also entertaining. You will also see the great wealth contained in the university’s library - thousands of ancient books and volumes. Tours available in Spanish or English.

This is a small museum based on Jesuit history and includes historical books, maps and scripts.

What I enjoyed the most was the cartography section which showed historical maps from the 1600s to today and the development of South America.

The museum is small so about an hour should be fine for a visit.

Only con that I I can think of is that there were not enough English descriptions.

Although there are a few, I do not associate Cordoba with museums. This one is the exception - It is filled with the legacy of the Jesuits, and is an amazing collection of manuscripts, maps, and other historic items. Go on Wednesday for free admission.

We walked around looking at the maps and books. Small collection but very impressive. The tour would probably give a lot more info of course but it's worth seeing either way.

This is part of the Jesuit Block in Cordoba, right next to the Church. We were provided with a self-guide written in English which was very helpful. The building is interesting in itself, and it houses a collection of ancient books and documents. We were very impressed with a room on the right from the entrance that was originally part of the old church.
