We were warmly welcomed into the home of Ana and Ralph. We spent a wonderful day learning about the Tigre Delta , the history, the wildlife and the community. Ana' s knowledge is broad and interesting. We were spoilt with wonderful food from chef Ralph. The experience is one that you should not leave Argentina without doing this trip with... More

The other 5 star reviews say it all. What an amazing way to spend a day in Argentina. Warm and gracious hosts, delicious (like really really delicious!) homemade food, uniquely beautiful scenery and great conversation. It was like having a little adventure with dear old friends. If you're keen to experience a slice of Argentina off the beaten path, away... More

We really can recommend doing a tour with Ana and Ralph! Both are passionated about the Tigre Delta. Ana loves to share all information on animal and wildlife and has a broad experience. Ralph is a long traveled chef and spoils the guests with fresh and delicous! Don't hesitate to do this tour also when it is raining a bit,... More

My wife (who was born in Argentina) and I were on our second trip to this beautiful country and elected to sign up for this excursion based on the fabulous reviews. Well, we were not disappointed. Everything about the day(March 9) was fantastic- our hosts Ana and Ralph; the food; the boat trip; and El Tigre. Ana and Ralph are... More

To call this a tour doesn't do it justice! It's a day-long intimate visit with Ana and Ralph, who opened their island home to us, and made us feel warmly welcome, extremely well-fed and graciously enlighted about this unique region of the country. We shared Ralph's freshly baked bread, learned about the history of the Delta, lazed on the deck... More

This isn't a typical Tigre Delta tour this is about making friends and learning about the Delta and life there. Ana and Ralph are welcoming making you feel like family from the onset. They fed us all day - Ralph is an amazing cook while Ana educates you about their home, the Delta and living on the island. She is... More

We had already expected the trip to be very special because of all the nice reviews, but the day was extraordinary, on top, our group of six (three couples) was perfect, we do wish, we had more time to spend with them.... From the booking of the tour to the way back everything was so well organized, but organized not... More

Ana and Ralph offer a uniquely historic as well as contemporary view of life in the Tigre Delta of the mighty Paraná river. Their home has seen the heyday of Delta fruit production in the first half of the century and served as a weekend "hotspot" to locals in the roaring '20s, which in Argentina continued to roar in the... You will be welcomed with a hug and immediately feel at home. What a treat to be entertained in the home of a local! After Ana gave us a tour of the home/property and explained where we'd be going, we had a lovely continental breakfast with bread made in their clay oven by Ralph, a most excellent cook on land... It was my first trip to Argentina in the company of good friends. We visited the glaciers in El Calafate and the waterfalls in Iguazu. As my friend Pat had planned it, he included a day in the Delta Del Tigre with Delta Unplugged. Unquestionably it was the third highlight of our trip after the glaciers and the waterfalls. It...
