Excellent Tango Dinner Show!

I will start off by saying that my wife and I are fans of dance, not just Tango. We came here with the expectation that this wouldn't be traditional Tango. The good things about this show in order: 1. The Piano Player was great 2. The Banana Mouse was very good (if you do the meal, which I don't recommend)... More

This was our second year visiting this super cool Faena hotel and intimate environment. We did dinner and show, enjoyed the Chandon wines with the 3 courses meal. Dinner was delicious and was served prior the show. The tango show itself was mesmerizing, costumes were stunning and the dancing impeccable. They added this year some more contemporary dancing quite nice.... More

The show was highly recommended. We paid extra for dinner and good seats, $300 per person!!! A driver came to pick us up from the hotel and we had a comfortable ride. We arrive at the beautiful hotel Faena and we're shown to our table. We were on the third row of tables and questioned the Person who say us... More

My wife and I were recommended this place by a local friend. The price is pretty astronomical but it did include private transfers to and from our hotel and what you are paying for is exclusivity and intimacy with a very good band, only about 50 people in the restaurant and the dancers within metres of you. Unfortunately there was... More

First to start with the hotel Faena. Its beautiful!! Absolutely gorgeous lobby. Now on to the dinner and show. The service was fantastic and my dinner was very good! I had the salmon and it was very tasty. The show was amazing. If you come to BA and dont go to this show you are missing out! The women are... More

Since the Place is rather slow the audience is very close to the dancers and sort of sourrounded by them. The show covers almost all aspects of Tango. The dinners that goes along is somewhat overpriced and service is a bit insecure. To be fetch from once residence to the spectacle and brought back home is a plus.

You can't go to BA without seeing a tango show and this one is in a super cool hotel and intimate environment. We did dinner and show. The food was good not unforgettable but the service was great. The drinks were continuously topped up. The show only starts at around 10 so if you don't want to wait too long... More

The tango show itself was mesmerizing. The costumes were stunning and the dancing impeccable. Sadly the food was just mediocre= Tasteless and average. It is a beautiful first class hotel and an intimate room. For the price and the small number of guests I believe we were let down.

I've been to other tango shows but I would definitely recommend this one over the others for the following reasons: - Dinner is delicious and is served prior to the show, giving you time to chat and have conversation before going into "watching" mode. I got the burrata starter which was insanely good! The beef tenderloin and potatoes were very... More

I wanted the best- this show is advertised as a professional, high quality show. It was not either. This was a huge disappointment- since I know we will not visit Buenos Aires again and it was a missed opportunity. The show was performed on a stage that was too small- and a singer who could not sing - topped off... More

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighbourhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighbourhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolise this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.
