Tango show in Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires

Very good show. I've been to other shows in Buenos Aires is this is, by far, the most modern in terms of scenario, quality of the music (sound) and show in general. Very well... read more

Booked Madero because of issue with reservations at another place and deeply regreted it. The dancers and singers are good but the show is very bland and uninteresting. The only good part was the band playing Piazolla and the waitress thought that was a good time to make me pay for dinner and list all itens and prices consumed. Ruined... More

We were expecting a SEXY Tango show, instead it's a sexist, verging on misogynist show. Granted, I don't speak Spanish so I'm basing my interpretation strictly on the visuals which were offensive to say the least – women as chattel. We opted to get our own transportation there which was fine, seat was good, service was good, food was average,... More

It was my 2nd visit and a 1st for my wife in Argentina. Iguazu, Bariloche and Perito Moreno did not let up in their awe-inspiring splendor! We spent almost 3 weeks all in all and the dinner show at Madero Tango was so enjoyable to watch that we feel it rivals that of Moulin Rouge in Paris! I'm quick to... More

We booked the premium package which includes personal transport, photo and DVD, dinner and drinks and a premium table of your own. We were really impressed with the whole experience. Transport was on time. Table was excellent with a fabulous view of the stage. The service was amazing from start to finish with Francisco our waiter ensuring we had the... More

The show is very good, but the place is very crowded and the service was not good. I waited a lot of time for my first drink, the dinner was average. The waiting time since I arrived and the show started was long.

Very good show. I've been to other shows in Buenos Aires is this is, by far, the most modern in terms of scenario, quality of the music (sound) and show in general. Very well presented it was very entertaining and the quality of the food and wine was above expectations for this type of venue. Excellent choice right in Puerto... More

We were picked up at 8 pm by the shuttle service. When we arrived our meal had one free drink. We were charged for 10 glasses of wine even though there was only 3 glasses served and 8 people sitting on the table. Staff did not itemise the account and tried to get us to pay for the account during... More

This is tailored for the local market and not an international audience. The buses to pick us up from our hotel are well organised by the venue where the show is held. The location is excellent being on the waterfront and tables are well spaced around the stage. However, we didn't arrive until after 9pm and most tables were empty.... More

When in Argentina, tango is an absolute must, and Madero Tango by far exceeded my expectations. The venue is perfectly situated in Puerto Madero along the river, while the interior atmosphere is chic and intimate. The tango show was by far one of the most impressive performances I have seen; in fact, it was more like musical theater. All of... More

They have a couples rate which is better then some other places. They will pick and drop you off. Pick up went well but one lady from Brazil got upset because the driver wanted to drop her off a block and a half from her hotel at 1 am. I translated and he said he would drop her in front... More

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighbourhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighbourhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolise this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.
