This neighbourhood is a bit trendy. Good for food and bars but for staying there- it's quite far from everything else. There are lots of shops and it's a fun place to be and soak up the local life.

Palermo… Quirky, Beautiful and Fun... with a bit of a carnival vibe. It’s a tad touristy but it’s also a Buenos Aires must see. And again, it’s fun. I enjoyed my visit.

We were staying here for a couple nights. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood and finding interesting restaurants. We also took a drive through and saw the wonderful graffiti. We did not have time to check out the many shops.

Palermo is very convenient, walkable, lots of coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. Easy access to the hop on/off bus (yellow) buses that will help give you a feel for this very very big city.
