Buenos Aires is turning out to me a coffee desert despite the deep Italian connections. After our first two days we almost gave up on getting a decent cup of coffee until we stumbled upon Coffee Town in the middle of a covered market in...More

We sat at the bar and watched the barista make coffee like each one was a work of art. The entire precinct around Coffee Town was buzzy and fab. It was a great place to visit on Sunday when the San Telmo markets were in...More

So far the best coffee that I've tasted in BA they roast their own coffee at the place and there is a wide variety of single origin coffees on the menu and several different brewing methods so even the most critical coffee affectionado should be...More

We decided to have a light lunch to go with the coffee and chose a veg flan and a cheese empanada and a Munich salad which was one of the best salads I've had. The service was quick and the whole experience a delight.

Certainly one of the best coffees we had in Buenos Aires (cappuccino and espresso) and the almond croissant was yummy, too! Its a cute place in the center of the Market hall.

On the whole I found the coffee disappointing in South America, my best cup on my last day in Santiago. The coffee here was average and the almond croissant even more so. Not good and not bad.

Walking through San Telmo and went into the markets. Stopped for a coffee at a stall. Best coffee in Buenos Aires so far. R$50 each and very good. Wifi available. Recommended.

Our guide said this was a great place for coffee and it was a scene in the movie Focus with Will Smith. We had an espresso and it was great. Great place to take a break when in San Telmo and at the Mercado.

Really impressed with the simplicity and focus on the coffee. Took time and consideration to make my Macchiato. A++

Characterized by cobblestones and narrow streets, San
Telmo is defined by the tango, the dance that made
Buenos Aires world-famous. Tango is a fusion of many
different cultures: a true child of immigration, much
like the city itself. Nowadays, it comes alive after
dark in the milongas (dance parties) attended by both
locals and visitors alike, who dance until the wee
hours of the morning. During the day, the antique
