One of the signature sights in BA. We visited it during the day on a bike tour of the city. It was very nice.

Big bridge located in Puerto Madero. I considered average so if you have time enough time go there. Puerto Madero is also beautiful tonight, unfortunately I went on the morning and I didn't have the change to go back tonight but I also recommend.

This unique bridge in the central part of BA stands out because of its modern design. However, it blends well and is quite an engineering marvel.

As this is located in Porto Madero, this becomes a place that you will see. The bridge calls attention and it is easy to see. It doesn't need to be a solo spot as it has around several good ranked restaurants. So, combine it and go!

It is located in the beautiful area of Puerto Madero. The architect has described the design as a synthesis of the image of a couple dancing the tango. Great spot for a nice pictures and many restaurants around, safe place for walking.

One of the most famous modern structures in Buenos Aires, the Bridge of the Woman pays homage to the tango. Ironically the most visible part the huge arm is actually male tango dancers. All part of the walking charm of Puerto Madero

It's not just about the bridge, that, even when beautiful and trendy is, well, just a bridge. But the neighbourhood and sorroundings are really great. Try to avoid weekends and holidays because the whole place will be really crowded, but any other time you will enjoy it for sure.

There are many restaurants near this modern, historical bridge. Definitely see the Puerto Madero in the daytime to get a feel for where everything is. After dinner, enjoy the lights. Get a different perspective of the bridge, the ships and the city as they glow at night.

Safe for a solo woman traveler to walk at night. Just be cautious and have a restaurant help with a cab home because they are hard to find close to the bridge. Plenty of restaurants and bars along the canal.

Nice bridge to see while in Puerto Madero, the history of it is cool. I wouldn't say that it is the main reason to visit Puerto Madero though.

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighbourhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighbourhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolise this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.
