Why walk when you can ride? Buenos Aires is big, flat, filled with bike trails, and way too beautiful to experience behind a bus window, so touring the city by bike is the best way too see more in less time. Our guided tours are safe, cover the best parts of the city, follow many of the newly constructed bike paths, and stop frequently allowing you freedom from the bike to explore on foot, take photos, eat delicious Asado (Bondiola, veggie options also available) and try traditional refreshments (Yerba mate). Visit our website to find out more about what we do, who we are, and why you should join us for an unforgettable day Biking Buenos Aires!

We did the full day tour with Kaylee and she was fantastic. Super chilled ride around most of the city and it really is a great way to get your bearings. She took us through the major historical sights and neighbourhoods and was super knowledgeable on the history of the city. You're not going to see all of BA but... More

It's true. Buenos Aires is so big that just one ride won't cover this great metropolis. Those of us who live here and get to commute through the city on bikes are quite fortunate to have this available to us. However, we know the city so well, that we promise that we cover the best areas in the most ideal... More

I took a tour with BsAs biking towards the end of a study abroad semester in which my studies focused partially on Argentine history. I had a GREAT time doing the full city tour and feel like it not only added to my base of knowledge, but also helped connect a lot of ideas. Our tour guide (Henrik) did an... More

The Ultimate City tour is definitely the way to go if you're trying to see and experience the city in one day. Luckily, Buenos Aires is beautifully chaotic enough to steal your attention but it always helps to have such an engaging tour guide like Henrik to compliment it. We appreciate your kind words and for choosing Biking Buenos Aires.... More

I've done the bike ride with Raymond and it was a cool ride, very informative and definitely interesting experience. Loved the diversity of the city and the stories we've been taken through.

We went on tour with Anne and it was awesome! She really knows about the city! Biking BA is a great way to get to check out the city's most important places and you also get to try a delicious bondiola.

Luke is extremely knowledgeable about the sights and history of this city and adds so much meaning to all the places he takes the tour group to. I felt completely safe on the busy Buenos Aires streets even though I seldom ride bikes at home where the setting is more tranquil. Gol, Luke's point woman stopped traffic for us and... More

Our tour of the South with Gol was the highlight of our trip. Our tour of the South of B.A. was the highlight of our trip. She took us to places we would never have seen on our own. Also she guided us safely through this busy city staying in designated bike lanes for the majority of the tour. Gol... More

My friends and I had been in Buenos Aires for 4 days prior to going on a tour with Biking Buenos Aires, we thought we had seen a lot already just on our own. On the tour, with our lovely guide Anne, we saw and learnt way more than we could have ever done by ourselves. The team at Biking... More

We have been living in BA for nearly a year and I wish I had done a tour with Biking Buenos Aires as was recommended by a friend when we first arrived. My friend was visiting from the US and we joined a group with Rodrigo and Gol. Both were over-the-top amicable and knowledgeable about the rich history, architecture, and... More

Staying in San Telmo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Telmo
Characterized by cobblestones and narrow streets, San Telmo is defined by the tango, the dance that made Buenos Aires world-famous. Tango is a fusion of many different cultures: a true child of immigration, much like the city itself. Nowadays, it comes alive after dark in the milongas (dance parties) attended by both locals and visitors alike, who dance until the wee hours of the morning. During the day, the antique shops and classic cafés and bars around Plaza Dorrego dominate the scene. The emblematic Bar Plaza Dorrego, with its green awnings, checkered tile floors, and wooden interiors, takes you back in time the moment you step inside. For true porteño traditions, San Telmo is the place to be.
