My husband and I decided to take some Tango lessons and visit a Milonga whilst in Buenos Aires. It was a very enjoyable experience all round. Our teachers Francisca and Sebastian were obviously very experienced and able to work well with beginners. We were very happy with the results. The Milonga outing is definitely worth experiencing as well - it... More

I traveled to BA with 2 other adult women and was so put off by the cheesy and inauthentic tango dinner shows that our travel agent recommended. We stumbled upon Narrative Tours on TripAdvisor and we could not have been more pleased. We met our teacher/guide Rebecca at a dance studio and were taught the basic foundations of tango for... Naomi and Leo had us dancing in just one hour. Naomi took us to a Milonga (a neighborhood club). We ordered some drinks, surprisingly good pizza and empanadas and tried to join in the fun. We went to a slick tango show later but this experience was educational and so much more interesting than passively watching a show. You develop... More

My husband and I had a fun and very helpful dance lesson with Naomi and Edward (?) and we had a lovely time dancing and laughing together. Then Naomi took us to a milonga which was a new experience and very interesting with lots of information about the etiquette. A couple of nights later we went to a "show" and... More

My husband and I were in Buenos Aires in June this year. We wanted to learn about tango but were not interested in going to a cabaret type show. Fortunately I found Narrative Tango Tours. We spent a wonderful evening with Francisca who took us to a local milonga. She spent the evening explaining to us interesting information not only... More

We were two older women wanting to learn the tango and see the milonga atmosphere. Our teacher was Francesca who is a professional tango and flamenco teacher who, with another young man teacher, took us both under their wings and taught us the basic steps in a dance studio for one hour. Then Francesca took us to a local milonga... More

My husband and I had a great evening out. Our evening at the milonga was a good mix between entertainment and information. Our guide Francisca was extremely knowledgeable and personable. If you are looking for a "show" this is not the tango experience for you as you are watching real people, some of which were amazing and some who just... More

So happy my husband and I booked a tour for an accompanied milonga! It was very easy to book through email and we met up with Francisca, a professional tango dancer well-versed in its history, at Obelisco Tango on a Saturday night. She led us in and we got great seats in the milonga hall where we could watch the... More

It was my first day in Buenos Aires. Noami, a Los Angeles-bred, Buenos Aires resident and professional tango dancer, picked me up at my hotel and took me to a Milango at undescribable Canning Studio. She lives and breathes tango and was truly able to communicate to me the essence of the dance as a metaphor for life. She didn't... More

My fiancé stumbled across narrative tango tours online and this was indeed a stroke of luck! We first had a tango lesson with Francisca and Dario who were excellent teachers. None of us had danced tango before and Christian has two right feet. We had so much fun and couldn't stop laughing at Dario's jokes. After the lesson Francisca took... More
