The area
Address
Neighbourhood: Belgrano
As one of the main commercial hubs of Buenos Aires, Belgrano has something for everyone. The myriad of shop windows in Cabildo Ave. will draw you in, but it is Chinatown — an area of no more than two square blocks — which will keep you hooked. Crowned by an ornate arch marking its entrance and filled with small stores packed to the brim, it is a place where colour and scent emanate from every corner, particularly during the Chinese New Year when they spill over to surrounding areas. But if you prefer a quieter atmosphere, the residential quarter of Belgrano is the perfect destination. This section of town features some of the most magnificent mansions in the city, spread out on cobbled streets lined by tall, majestic trees: a true feast for the eyes.

The museum is sleek and stunning, yet it falls short in showcasing the rich history, intriguing facts, and curiosities of River Plate. Although we participated in the stadium tour, it regrettably did not provide value for money. The steep cost far outweighed the brief presentation on the stadium's background. We had expected a more comprehensive experience and, in hindsight, would not have opted to pay extra for the tour.

We went the day after a home match and workers were leaf blowing trash 20 feet away from tour guide using bullhorn. Heard about two words the guide said. We went in the stands for 10 minutes and never went on field or behind the scenes. Museum was well done but not enough to overcome disappointment of stadium tour.

This old stadium hosted the final of Football Wordl Cup 1978. Now it looks declining. There is a shop for the tourist with double prices than in shops ( shirts, cups, etc). very dangerous area to walk, impossible go to a match because of hooligans

It's a really giant stadium. If you bought tickets go earlier, but really earlier. The police close the streets close, and you need to walk too much. And to go up in the stadium you need time! So go earlier!

This is not only for River Plate fans, it's for all the people who wants to know the history of Argentina and how the years and events are mixed with River Plate and Argentina's football. You can see here historics objects and videos, and see all the River's t-shirts, plus a fiscal tour for Monumental Stadium and different virtual events.
