Immersed in the sound of honking horns and the footsteps of busy office workers, the Microcentro area of San Nicolás is where visitors will encounter the true hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, walking down streets lined with office buildings and banks. The financial district is well-known for its vibrant atmosphere and unstoppable rhythm during office hours. After dark, the hubbub and migrates to Corrientes Ave., where theatre lovers might start their evening at a play and end it in one of the many traditional pizzerias nearby. It's a huge stage. The performance was outstanding. However, the tables set up made it difficult to see the performance if your table was on the side. If the guest in front of you raises their cell phone to take pic, it's very obstructed the view,

The performers were very talented and we enjoyed the performances on stage. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. It was very factory-like and just crammed too many people into the space. It’s a huge theater space so do not expect anything intimate or personal. We paid for a vip experience, but the best seats up front are held for huge crowds from cruise ships that file in just before the show starts. Throughout the show, all these hundreds of people hold their phones up to video tape the show so you can barely actually see the performance, you only see all the phones recording the show. The food was marginal, nothing special, it was like being at a big banquet hall. I wish I had researched it better and read the reviews. There are so many better options for tango and a lovely dinner, I would not recommend this one and would not return.

I arrive 40 mins early, and was seated near the front of the venue but only a few minutes before the show is due to begin, waitresses rudely force me to sit right at the furthest back of the room, where I can no longer see the stage, because of latecomers. I had no one to talk to as everyone spoke Spanish, and no visibility of the performance. At this point, I had asked for a drink 4 times and still hadn’t been delivered one. Considering I paid extra for the unlimited drinks package, this was shocking and a waste of money. I left early around 45 mins into the tango show. My Uber App wasn’t working, and they refused to help me phone a taxi. After trying to fix the app, I was forced out of the building and locked out, where I lost my WiFi, so I had to hail a random unmarked taxi as a young female alone in the city. Uber problems were not the Tango staff’s fault, but they lacked any care or consideration to help me. The dancers were beautiful, but staff totally ruined experience! Felt I was treated poorly because of being white and non-Spanish speaking, and on my own. But they should not discriminate and welcome all tourists to enjoy their cultural dancing.

Beautiful show, well prepared and with super talented artists. It even included folk dances (malambo, with tap dancing, percussion and bolo dances), in addition to tango. We bought tickets at the establishment's own box office, for the same day. Those who purchase tickets with dinner end up sitting in the frontmost sectors, but it costs at least twice as much; As in other tango houses, they say that the great advantage of dining there is mainly the location of the table at which you will sit, and not the dinner itself. We watched the event with only drinks available, without dinner, thus sitting in the last sector of the audience, but the view was good too, as we ended up being further towards the front and in the middle in this sector. Regardless of the sector, everyone sits sideways to the stage, making it necessary to turn the chair a little, and the tables are practically touching each other, which is not a problem. The floor of the audience rises towards the back, which favors the view in all sectors. I believe it's just not so good for those who are placed a lot on the sides, even in the most forward sectors, or for those who are allocated a lot to the funds in that back sector.
Initially, you cannot choose the table at which to sit, only the sector based on the type of ticket; Perhaps asking at the time of purchase or at the receptionist at the entrance before being taken to the table, it is possible to ask for a good spot, especially if it is not too crowded yet. As for service at tables, it is sometimes a little slow; We already ordered a bottle of wine at the table before the show started so we didn't have to look for drinks afterwards. Wine changes depending on the sector; in ours it was Benjamin Malbec 2023 (nieto senetier), and it was very good even though it was theoretically the simplest. Before the show started, a photographer passed by with a couple of dancers at tables offering tango themed photos and during the show she came to offer the photos, however on the date (3/12/2023) they would cost 110 reais each photo; There are other places where you can take these photos for much less, like Caminito. Anyway, the main thing was the show, it was excellent, and even more so with the drinks, it was great, I recommend it!

The spectacle is incredible! I went for the Executive Dinner + Show package, I bought it the day before at an agency in Buenos Aires and paid the same price as purchasing directly at the box office (approximately US$60 or R$300 in January/2024). The hotel transfer was included and they were extremely punctual.

The food is good and, even if it's not extraordinary, it's worth buying dinner because the location is privileged. Those who buy the Plateia dinner stay further away and serve more basic wines (Benjamin); the Executive Dinner has a better location (I thought it was great) and serves an intermediate wine (Alámos Malbec or Chardonnay); the VIP Dinner is closer to the stage and has better wines (DV Catena); Those who only buy the show stay further away. The service was good and wine was served throughout the night, including during the show. The waiter wouldn't let the glass be empty lol.

And the show is really incredible, the dancers are great, as are the band and singers. My 3 year old daughter loved the show and was super excited. It was my first tango show and, even though they say there is one or the other better, my experience was fantastic.

We were referred to this show by the hotel concierge who also made the reservations. Luckily, we chose the ‘show only’ option. The lady at the ticket office was busy on the phone, so we waited patiently for her to resolve her issues. The tickets had some numbers on them which did not turn out to be seat numbers. We were ushered to a balcony (rooftop?) and told to sit on the very far side, on hard wooden chairs, with a view of two heavy metal railings. To see the stage we would have to get up and bend down, which, of course, was not possible. We were told the show would start at 9:00 PM, but it started at 10:00 PM. From what we could see in between the railings, there was a circus going on down there. Apart from one dance only, there was no tango. The music was deafening. Thankfully, the show was only 90 minutes. A night wasted…

We bought the complete package with dinner, the individual table is 2cm away from the other table, so it ends up being collective, but we were close to nice Brazilians! Dinner was nice, well served, but food without much flavor, the meat was rubbery, the drink was great and served well. The show is very good, with live music, it's really worth it, in addition to the tango there is a local folklore performance, very interesting to see. The theater is organized and everyone is very friendly. I indicate!

The views were terrible, we paid to see a show and they put us on the tables at the top, in the back and there is no visibility. And on top of that, they take photos of you and offer it to you for $20 per photo, which is an abusive price, which we reject. I don't recommend it, because we pay the same as everyone else.

We booked 3 x VIP tickets for the show and dinner. The food and service was excellent and the quality and replishment of drinks exceptional - our seats were the best in the house. The show itself starts at 22:00 promptly and is about 1:20 duration and easily of West End standard (probably better in fact). The range of dances, music and songs was spot on and everyone in the cast displayed enormous talent throughout. This was a very enjoyable evening and is thoroughly recommended. Lovely venue too…

Great show. The venue is on 9th July Avenue. We booked via a hotel tour rep so not sure on prices as we used US $. Included hotel pick up despite it being a 10 minute walk. Big venue, 1000 guests? Anyway the food and service was excellent. Me steak, wife dorado fish plus starters and deserts. Beers and wine flowed. all included. The show was also excellent. We did not understand the theme or the dialog who cares the dancing was first rate. I love ballet, and this was like a ballet but tango. There was always a queue outside the booking hall so its got to be worth a visit. If you want a Tango show you will not be disappointed. Most of our table fellows were South Americans which says a lot. Alas photos would not load.
