We came here initially to purchase wine, as we had heard they pack it so you can safely check in a box with your airline (it's true!). As I chose to seat in the bar area, there was a couple doing wine tasting and they immediately brought me in into the conversation. Fast forward a couple of hours and a... More

The place is great and the price is right. Our knowledge of the Spanish language is minimal. They told us not to worry. A staff person kindly offered to translate the presentation. He certainly tried hard and did his best. Those who understood Spanish got much more out of that evening than we did which would be fair if we... More

all are made to feel welcome although the crowd was mainly composed of thirty-somethings when I went. The tasting per se is instructive and generous and is accompanied with a platter of local cold cuts and cheeses. All in all, a perfect aperitif option before dinner in one of the million surrounding restaurants of Palermo.

If you visit Buenos Aires, you have to go to Lo de Joaquin Alberdi. I do not write reviews for places ever, but I feel so strongly about this place that I had to! My friend and I had been talking about going to a nice wine bar to sample different wines, but once I found this vinoteca, I knew... More

We went for wine tasting and we were not disappointed! Passionate sommelier, helpful team if like me you don t speak Spanish: they can help you with French, English or even Portuguese. A wine maker is coming and talk about the wine she make with a taste of 4 different wine. They even serve amazing platter of cheese and charcuterie!... More

We booked a last minute private wine tasting here and we were so glad we did! The store was intimate and lovely. Bautiste was our sommelier and was incredibly knowledgeable about all the wines. Joaquin, the owner, is incredibly entertaining and gave us tastes of things even before we started. The tasting was in english and there were 6 of... More

We happened to walk past this bar one afternoon at around 1pm and thought we would pop in to see what wines they had from the local Argentinian area.... We left this place at around 9pm!!! As soon as we walked in we were greeted personally by the owner who immediately took it upon himself to show off some of... More

We were staying in Palermo Hollywood and walked to this store form our Hotel clasico. Unfortunately, we could not spend a lot of time here due to Tango reservations. I had asked the hotel repeatedly about a good wine tasting place and they kept sending me to a bar. This place was great and though we couldn't sign up for... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
