This is worth going to see in the city. The metal flower opens up during the day and closes at night. This is a very unusual sculpture and so interesting.

Had seen pictures before we arrived and vowed to walk there to take photographs. Easy to get to if you are in Recoleta and worth a visit. With the sun shining it really is stunning to look at with the reflections and blue sky above.

This became our landmark for visiting other sites in BA! I only wish we could have seen it open or close. Splendid artwork!

Visited this site as it was a recommendation and on the way. We weren’t the only ones - school buses lined up to provide the students with a glimpse of this art. Great design and worth stopping to see.

This looks quite impressive bright & shining in the sun. We were told it’s made out of 747 parts the engine cowlings I assume. It should open & close but this part seems not to work now

The Floralis Generica is an very interesting large sculpture located in a city park. The flower opens as the sun rises and then slowly closes in the late afternoon/sunset. It’s a good idea to photograph it in the morning and afternoon if in the area...More

Nice sculpture and good views of the city but not much else to do in the park. It’s a short walk to the Recoleta Cemetery so it’s worth a stop for pictures.

Well worth seeing up close. Do stroll around the sculpture for a better view of the reflecting pool. We had a restful visit midday with no crowds.

The sculpture itself is great, definitely worth seeing, but the area around it was a bit disappointing, the park was meh, quite empty and boring. It's such a large space, and has several gates, but only one was open, which seemed to be the case...More
