About
The cable car at Babadag stops at two levels, the first of which has an open-air concert theater, a playground, and viewing platforms. The second level boasts a restaurant with incredible panoramic views, and you can take a chairlift from there and hike the steep path to the summit. Bring a jacket with you, as the temperature drops considerably the higher you go, and get there early for fewer crowds. Babadag is popular with thrill-seeking paragliders from April to November—make a lunch reservation at the restaurant for a delicious meal with a front-row seat of the action. – Tripadvisor

We’ll worth the money a fabulous attraction clean safe and cheep £7.50 each for a thrill ride well it was thrilling to us at our age The view were stunning it has 2 restaurants one on the first stop is a burger bar close at 8 pm the second at the top has a restaurant and drinks and snakes all good prices a class walk way with fresh water carp loved that. Just try to get up in time for sunset wow beautiful. Definitely worth the ride and they have a buggy to take you back to carpark or taxi drop off both ways free wow great service fantastic experience.

    Awesome
This was a really nice ride to the top of the mountain with spectacular views all the way to the top, taking around 20 minutes each way. There's a lovely restaurant on the top and lots of places to take in the views and watch dozens of paragliding fly by. I recommend a late afternoon visit so you can watch the stunning sun set.

    A must do
The cable car is only a recent addition but we’ll worth a visit. Price is 300 lira each (about £9.50). Not for those that done like heights but the views are stunning. They’re is a secondary chair lift for those that want to get right to the top (like a ski lift). You get a real close up of the paragliders taking off which is amazing and worth the trip just for that. Plenty of buses go bast and just a few pence to travel from Oludeniz.

    Well worth it!
Very cheap for a day out, We loved the views. You could spend ages up there and the restaurant looked great for a romantic meal but we done this on our last day and had a flight in the evening so did not get to spend to long up there. Its a must when in Turkey!

Amazing views of fetiye and Oludeniz
There are 4 levels: 1200m, 1700m, 1800m and 1900m. The enclosed cable car takes you to 1200m and 1700m. There’s a restaurant at 1200, 1700 and 1800. We ate at 1800 and had refreshments at 1700. The views were amazing. The ski lift to the 1800m is scary as you just have this manual barrier from overhead and it’s just open air. Was too scared to take me mobile phone ti take pictures! Interestingly the cable car to 1900m does not work / is dismantled and there’s no open restaurant there either but views are amazing. There’s a red bus that can take you up there and also down to 1700 if you don’t fancy the ski lift. The highlight is the entertainment that is in watching paragliders take off from the 1800m. The audience reaction coupled with the not so smooth take offs from first timers definitely provided much conversation and comedy!

    Amazing experience
Would recommend this to anyone. We went around 4pm and there was no wait or queue. The views were amazing. We sat for ages in the cafe watching the paragliders take off. Drinks and ice creams reasonable prices

Fantastic Experience - don't miss it!
Fantastic day out! The cable car and chair lift were smooth and serene... not at all scary, and excellent value for money at 300TL per person (about £10). Watching the paragliders take off was fascinating, though I didn't have the courage to try it myself (not sure my travel insurance would have covered it - that's my excuse anyway ;-) and the sunset was marvellous. The one and only criticsm is that when we left at 7.30pm the toilets in the main building at the base of the cable car were in a disgusting condition.

    A must do!
The most incredible views, I would advise to go during sunset! Would recommend going to the lowest level restaurant (first stop on the cable car). A bit more pricey, but worth every penny for the food, decor and the views! You can get off at any level and still go up to the top! A must do if you visit the area

    Brilliant place to visit.
This is an absolute must if you are on holiday in this area. Fantastic experience, not expensive, gorgeous views with restaurants to dine in and watch the world go by. Didn't sky dive, but it was great to watch others jump off. Beautiful place to watch the sun go down.

Disappointed that the cable car only goes to 1200m and not up to the higher cafe and restaurant. We've been up there in previous years. Not worth going up to the lower level in my opinion. Surely the summer season starts in May and it should be opening up to the higher level by that time.

⛰️Babadag Hike, not quite!🤣🇹🇷

📏2,000 Metres
⚠️ But….could only hike 850 metres
❌No path, hit an impasse, and was faced with terrible news
😔 The cable car couldn’t get us across the lack of path, it was shut at the 1200 metre station😱.
🗓️Any higher is only open for paragliders until June - boo 🪂
👩🏻‍💼🔐Lovely Lady opened the 1200 metre 🚠station for us (through the back door 😆)
☢️⛔️Apparently too dangerous to hike the mountain!

❓We did wonder why it was hard to find a trail - can’t fault our efforts🤣🤣🤣

Wanted to post this in case these are people thinking the same as us!!

We went up at 4pm to catch sunset. Only £10 per person and dolmus stops outside. Be careful if travelling down hill as stop is on opposite side of a very busy road so crossing can be a problem.
Ride up was smooth and cable car spotless, amazing views. Sat and had drinks next to take off ramps at 2nd restaurant and it was wonderful watching them all take off. We were above the clouds and even though we couldn’t see the view the clouds at sunset were truly beautiful. A great way to spend a few hours.

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip up the mountain on the cable car.
It’s so easy to do yourself don’t waste money on an organised tour!
We took the dolmus bus for around 50p and then paid for the cable car trip around £8 each! Tour operator wanted to charge £40 for the trip!
Beautiful views from all stages and the cable cars were clean, stable and very quiet.
Fantastic watching the paragliders taking off and just beautiful views to be had.

What a brilliant experience going to the top of Mt. Babadag in the cable car breath taking views. The sunset was beautiful & had great fun watching the paraglider’s so much so that we (Phil my husband & I). Booked to jump into my 60th. Year with a bang or so be it the last of my 59th year. Thankyou so much to the great company Liberty who arranged for me to have my birthday cake mid flight & also all the birthday songs& wishes that were heard through the transceivers.

This was a fantastic experience, amazing views, we took loads of great photos. It was great value for money, we had lunch in the restaurant at the top of the chair lift which was very nice & reasonably priced. It was brilliant being able to watch all the Paragliders jumping off the mountain. We would do this again to watch the sunset and would recommend this to anyone coming to this area.
