Foreigners are often warned not to go to Divisoria because it is too dangerous. Well maybe Baclaran market is the next best thing - still a bit creepy - lots of street beggars (very small kids) will target any foreigners. Pickpockets certainly work there, and the prices for foreigners may be higher unless you really know how to haggle. but... More

I love this kind of market, the bigger the better. The market is open 24h. They offer fruits, food, clothes, plastics, whatever. I could send hours here, but the friends want to proceed.

Nice to visit.. Be careful with theif.. There's also Baclaran church at the area. Hard to find texi when back to Kalayaan area..The driver will be charged for much expensive fees.

The parking is always in contention plus the traffic at 8 in the morning. Although most of vendors are very kind there is one vendor that is less truthful and that lady is the 1st in the middle that sells shrimps when you enter the market.

Albeit definitely not as safe as Mongkok or Bugis but surely Baclaran is the best place to shop. That is when you are on a budget. Great finds and great crowds. Be ready to shell out a little bit leas and enjoy.

They all kind of unusefull stuff there. The market is dirty and crowded. If you search for exotic adventure than hire a riksha driver and have a tour around the market for a while. Watch your pockets always!

Beware of the market because there are many pick pockets and other suspicious activity going on around there, and their are many good venders that are just trying to earn an living by... More

I enjoyed visiting Baclaran Market quite a bit. If you want to get the best prices, look for people who advertise their price so you don't end up getting the tourist price. I got pants/shirts for 150/250php as well as sandals. Got a belt for 50 php ($1). If there's no listed price, you might end up getting the tourist... More
