This is the main historic walking street in Stellenbosch. It offers some food options (I recommend Stellenbosch Kitchen) as well as an excellent hardware store and a gas station with ATM. There's a good computer shop just off Dorp Street in Krige Street.

Very nice restaurants - I went to tiger's milk and the big easy. Both delicious - the big easy is on the expensive range for a backpacker though. With the roundabouts, it's easy to get lost in this city!
