    Good...
Lots to see, many different animals. ... There's a lot of mud, which I knew (there had been a lot of rain that fell shortly before). However, considering there's just so much mud, they could just put a hose for everyone to see to wash off their shoes & boots.

Amazing. A must visit for animal lovers
Had a fabulous time there with my family. Facility was clean, well organised and friendly staff. Animals well looked after with informative signs. Its clear that the Giraffe House has a passion for its animals. I love that they only have local animals who are indigenous to our climate. Will definitely come again.

We visited today and went around the whole place in 15 minutes, which we thought was way too expensive for R280. The giraffes were in a small enclosure at the very back because the main fence was being repaired after the strong winds last two days. You could therefore not really see any giraffes in a place called the giraffe house. The entrance staff should have warned us this before we paid to come in. There are a few crocodiles and a couple of monkeys and a tortoise as well. But all the animals are in what I consider to be enclosures way too small for the the animals happy life. Even though I note the sizes are dictated by minimum regulation standards. It just appears too small. I will not be visiting again.

Giraffe House changed their name to Giraffe World although Tripadvisor only recognizes Giraffe House. I visited it with a primary school group. The show where they have live animals are really exciting and informative. There are good interaction between the presenter and the visitors.

There are lots of animals in big and smaller enclosures to see with lots of information given at each of these enclosures.

There is a small shop and you can also get yourself something tasty to eat and drink at the outdoor restaurant. Lots of parking available. In rainy weather you must wear protective clothing and maybe gumboots. Great for families or couples as well.

I was disappointed with the place. I went just to take a picture with the giraffe, but they didn't let me because of the pandemic. However, nothing was said on any social network and I spent a lot of money on Uber to go there and back, as it is far from Cape Town.

When we tried to visit, we were told to leave because we didn't have on wellies/boots. It had rained and the ground was a little wet and we were wearing sneakers. The rest of the day we visited other parks and with no wellies, our feet were fine; we even got rained on at another location and we really didn't mind. And even if our feet had gotten wet at this location, I am sure I wouldn't write a bad review for that cause as you cannot control the weather. However, the lady at the ticket booth gave us the evil eye as I went to use the restroom before leaving; she pretty much followed us until we exited the park. It was a very disappointing experience!

They refused us us service saying it was too wet and our shoes would get wet as we did not have Wellington boots on, but allowed 2 people after we us wearing tennis shoes in. My wife asked if she could use the restroom before we were forced out and the lady followed us all the way to the restroom and back, only one step behind. It was utterly discriminatory and was without merit as the ground was not so wet we could not avoid any puddles. I am utterly baffled by this behavior and was heartbroken at having to miss the animals. I would not recommend supporting the business that fosters such rude and unacceptable behavior. I have never been more appalled, their staff should be completely ashamed.
