The FMC has been our favorite for many years now. It is one of the world's best, thus always awarded Chenin Blancs. This year, a new wine, Dirty Little Secret, also drew our attentiona and we can highly recommend it. The outside patio/area was nicely upgraded and welcomes guests to stay for tastings.

You can get a bit confused visiting all the different wine farms and quite a lot have expanded and become restaurants and the tasting takes second place. This is the exception, it's just a wine farm, it's wonderful, beautiful environment, relaxed with really knowledgable people talking to you. Most of the tastings I go to I only buy something because... More

Thought to meet a friend at KF for a quick wine tasting. Went into tasting room and asked staff if we can do a tasting. We went to sit outside and waited about 20 mins before anyone attended to us. We then chose the wines we wanted to taste. The tasting room staff member who helped us was unenthusiastic, not... More

I tasted wines here. There is a fee but if you buy bottles per taster it is waived. They allow you to sit on the patio and they bring you the wines you ask to taste one at a time. I saw other people eating cheese with the tasting. I didn't inquire about that as I had just finished lunch.... More

Wines are really good, with a lot of different tastes. While you are tasting, you can add a cheese platter which is really attractive, and just relax yourself. People are nice and helpful. Prices are very affordable : R60 for tasting 6 wines, a lot of really good wines at R45 the bottle. In summury, very good quality price ratio... More

I'm not sure why I've never visited this winery. But I'm so glad I eventually visited on a beautiful spring day. I was there primarily to try the different Chenin's, as of course Ken Forrester is the master of Chenin! However, the very friendly lady in the tasting room, persuaded me to try much more! The highlight was definitely the... More

I had the joy of experiencing one of Ken's Chenin Blancs in Chicago. From there, I was connected with Ken Forrester Wines to help me better understand S. African wine during my visit to Cape Town. From Alette who so kindly and generously offered to help us plan our wine tasting adventure in Stellenbosch and Franschoek, to the superb, open... More

This was our favourite of all the tastings we did during our recent visit to the area. Very friendly people and a gorgeous location in the garden for tasting. Very relaxed and relaxing. The wine was excellent and so was the cheeseboard and freshly made butternut soup. Highly recommended.

Six tastings for R60 waived if you buy 2 bottles was really great value considering some of the wines are crazily priced. The wagu beef droewors is also yummy if you're peckish... Although an unplanned stop it was worth it and the team working there were very friendly.

Gosh so disappointing to be treated like a complete inconvenience when we arrived for a tasting at 3pm. Beautiful venue and exquisite wine.
