A smaller vineyard with some good wines a bit away from the large ones but really worth visiting. Staff was really nice and friendly.

We visited at a weekend and is was not overcrowded with a lovely vibe - chose to sit outside with a stunning view. We liked this wine farm for not being commercial and for offering visitors a very well informed tasting. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable - the wine range was fantastic! Every wine we tasted was exceptional. Standout wines were the Pinot Grigio and Malbec but that was just personal- couldn't fault any of them! We also enjoyed a fantastic cheese platter - all in all a relaxed and very lovely Sunday! Thoroughly recommend.

When you arrive at the winery you are greeted by a beautiful, modern building with a big pond in-front of it - this building houses the winery and tasting center. The unique architecture is also reflected in their wines. Although the tasting experience was fun the wines are truly what makes this is great experience. They have different options to choose from ranging from budget friendly to premium, and I can honestly say that it will be difficult for you to not find a wine that you like. The clear stand out for me was their "Moordenaarskloof Tinta Barocca" and I am glad to say that I now have one in my collection. During the tasting you have the option of sitting outside or inside, but I definitely recommend you sit outside if the weather is nice, as you get an amazing view of the mountains right next to the wine estate. The staff were also friendly and helpful. I am glad to see they have kept to the high standard that I know them for.

We went for a wine tasting and ordered a charcuterie board! It was one of the best we have ever experienced at a wine farm to date. The wines were fantastic and our server had fantastic knowledge of the wine and made our experience amazing.

Being architects we went to visit because of it's unique and beautiful building that blends perfectly with the mountains behind. However, what a surprise to also find a cozy yet elegant wine tasting lounge with an exceptional service (don't remember the name of our patron but it was a lovely young lady, though all the ones in duty were ladies). We did a wine and gin tasting and she showed herself well informed and was very honest with what she didn't know, despite that she managed to keep us entertained and answered all of our questions. Would definitely recommend people to visit Dornier Wine Estate.

Twice in the last years we really decided on purpose to come over and have lunch on this beautiful wine estate. Not only the Semillon white wineis a treat, it is to our knowledge also the only place in the neighbourhood which serve the in Europe very popular 'Flammenkuche' or 'tarte flambé' as the French say. And these two in combination together with the great view on the Blaauwkilppen mountains really is worth a visit. Thanks folks - don't worry: we will come back!

Our visit was quite disappointing with our teenage daughter having no vegan options, not even a salad! All had dairy in. Very limited menu. Also no Paleo/Banting options either.
Very expensive too for portion size.

The wine tasting room is separate from the main space but is nice and cosy with great views.

We were 2 couples hosted by Steyn and he did a great job sharing about the wines we were tasting. He was fun yet professional and we had a great time. We will definitely visit again if we have the chance.

Luxurious Waterpoint for Cape Epic 2019. They were not prepared but in no time they were ready. People to show you the way to parking, table on the field with free wine. And water for sale. Beautiful view. Unfortunately fully booked for lunch in the restaurant but we could order flammkuchen to eat on the grass. Close to the building great internet. Rest of the venue no connection. Friendly and to-the-point people.
