We did the eastern tour and it was a great mix of tradition, modern, large and small vineries. We had a very nice and competent driver who gave us lot’s of additional information during the different stops. It was definitively worth doing that tour. You cannot...More

We did the Southern route starting with being picked up at our hotel at 9.30. There were 6 stops advertised although the guide said we would only visit 5, which was fine. We were expecting to have until 5pm at the vineyards, but in reality...More

Had an excellent day wine tasting (drinking) with a great driver Marshall who shepherded us round the 5 wineries on the Eastern Tour. We had a great day out. Marshall changed the running order so we could have lunch at Boschendal.

We are glad we did the 2 day hopper tour, firstly because our first day the northern route was not such a great experience, this was through no fault of vinehoppers themselves but the vineyards. I would suggest to miss the first two vineyards on...More

We went on the Eastern tour and had time for only five stops. Lunch at Camberley was a little disappointing but overall it was a good way to spend a day.

Dear Emily. October is still ok and there should be space but it is always best to book a day or 2 in advance to make sure you have space.

Even though most farms have red and white, I would recommend the Eastern Route or Northern Route for white wines. Regards Raino
