The Botanical Garden is the perfect place to escape from the sometimes busy streets of Stellenbosch. It offers shade and pools and a relaxing atmosphere where one can wander and marvel at beautiful plants and flowers. The lilly ponds are an attraction as well as the little Cafe.

Will go back, over and over again. Best place to visit in town. Go and have lunch at the Katjiepiering Restaurant. Good food, friendly service.

Not a huge garden, but very compact and work 1-2 hours visit. No fee at this time. Restaurant and store on site. Restaurant was very busy due to student parent visits this weekend.

We spent a whole morning wandering around these beautiful gardens & chatting with the gardeners. In the centre is a super cafe which serves teas, coffees & light lunches. Booking is advised.
