My kids loved this Zoo. There were so many animals to see. We just had to see them all. The highlight for us was feeding the giraffes. This zoo is very clean and well kept. All the staff were pleasant. The only drawback is they charge extra for rides and tours. We didn't do any of the rides or tours... More

The distances between the outermost displays can be quite far. They don't get "the business" like the aquarium and cages closer to the entrance. The riding amusements cost $6 each and they don't look very exciting. In fact, we only saw 2 people riding any of the rides except for the little train and skylift. A nice way to spend... More

We stopped by here to stretch our legs for a while after a long trip in the car. We weren't sure what to expect, but we were very surprised with the quality of this zoo and aquarium. We got there late so we didn't get to see the entire Zoo, but what we did see what very well done. The... More

Just got back from a great visit. The zoo is huge so prepare to put on some miles if you elect to. I thought it was a little pricey but, after being there for 6 hours, it wasn't a bad value. Once inside, the food and rides were also a bit expensive (food was good though). In the end, we... More

This is a very pricey zoo for the quality it has. yes it is a big zoo area. first one pays $40 to get in and then one starts to pay extra, like $6 for train ride, $6 for skyride, $15 for zipline, $6 for a boat ride, to for the most part, see what one has just walked by.... More

This private zoo is very well laid out and very clean. Lots of interesting animals to look at. Plenty of bathrooms and snacks available. There are several animals you can feed including the giraffes. Also they are upgrading several areas.

I was surpized how big it was. Took us 3 hours to go through it and we are not big sign readers. If you like birds Mc calls, parrots, and such this is for you. I did not realize there were so many. There were also a lot of manmauls so if birds are not your thing this place is... More

Look for coupons to offset the pricey adult admission price. The outside of the zoo as you approach, looks beat and tired, but its a pleasant surprise once you enter. There is a great array of animals, especially the monkeys which are a joy to watch, they have a nursery with new born animals, and the kangaroos hop around freely... More

Have been to Phoenix Zoo many times in the past but quit going when Mom was confined to a wheelchair as there were places it was hard for her to go. That may have changed by now, but we probably still won't go back because the Wildlife World Zoo is so much better. All the paths are level, except for... More

This zoo gets you up close to their animals as cages and exhibits are very close to the patrons. It's a large zoo with a lot of things to see and do. The ground is clay dirt so avoid sandals. They don't have an elephant, but a good variety of animals and reptiles. Also a good petting area, feeding of... More
