My visit was during the week, and there were many school children on field trip but not overwhelming. The cost is rather high, but go to their website and get a coupon discount. I was amazed by the openness of the zoo and aquarium. One...More

We were here on a Saturday. It was in the 80's so it wasn't so hot to keep the crowds away. However, it as like we were in our own private sanctuary. The paths are dirt/rock/gravel, so when the wind picked up, it was rather...More

The zoo is ok. It is more of a sanctuary than a zoo. They have a lot of birds and monkeys with a few other animals to round out the trip. It is on the expensive side for what it is, so look for a...More

There was a fairly good mix of animals and a good opportunity to see many of them up pretty close. However, it really felt like they were trying to squeeze every drop of money out of you. It was a fairly hefty $100ish entry for...More

they don't have high fences at most of the animal enclosures so you can really see them and get great photos. You can feed the giraffes all day long with your hands! I did it at least 3 times. Best zoo day ever!

We did not know what to expect when we walked into the entrance. Frankly, we were really disappointed with the facility. Old and dirty as you walk in, in a lot of places. For the money, and the admission is NOT cheap, (discount tickets available...More

I realize that taking care of exotic animals is a costly endeavor. This park in tries to do what it can with limited resources. Fees are higher because, even on a beautiful Saturday, there was almost no one there. If you like birds, this is...More

Habitats are mostly small and poorly kept; many are just wire cages or concrete rooms behind glass. We felt sorry for the animals, like the Arctic fox that was just lying on the floor of his barren concrete room, staring into space, no companions, nothing...More

We brought our son, his wife, and our 2-year old granddaughter here and we all had a nice time. The zoo is nice with a wide variety of animals for viewing. The Aquarium was the best part, in my opinion. Here there are a couple...More

Yes, they have large cats. The display for the panther (I think it was a panther) is awesome. You can walk under it. Kinda different knowing it’s looking down on you as you walk under. Also that had tiger cubs there. A baby... More
