Though damaged through shortsighted tourism schemes in the 1960s, these caves are still worth a visit for their eerie dark tunnels and stunning limestone formations.

Hadn't been to Cango Caves for about 36 years - big changes - all good.... Apparently upgraded for the 2010 World Cub. Be prepared for lots of steps if, like us, you are pensioners... but worth the visit...

The massive caves with small crevices to access it will take a huge amount of courage and bravery to navigate it. The key trip that will leave you exhausted and traumatised is the adventure tour. And it is finally scratched off my bucket list.

We have not visited a lot of caves so are comments are quite limited. For us the Cango Caves were fascinating, beautifully lighted for visual effect and enjoyable. The parking was convenient and the facility was well developed and maintained.

There were 2 tours available, I did the easier one with my 10 years old which is a gentle guided walk through the first sections of the caves. An easy walk with a few steps but doesn't require a high level of fitness. Plenty to...More

30 years after my last visit, I could almost remember every chamber as it appeared. An amazing experience and such beauty! Sadly no more music concerts are held in the caves but the tour itself is incredible. One of the highlights of our trip!
