A fun place to visit especially when they are having a craft and food event going on. Lots of ostrich products to check out, music and lots of food. A great place to visit when you are in town.

Great for shopping whether you are wanting gifts, meat, biltong or ostrich leather products. We were blown away by the delicious Ice teas and Pies that we bought at the restaurant to take away. Hands down the best Pepper Steak Ostrich pie I have ever tasted and our drinks were beautiful! So impressed and highly recommend:)

Beautiful and unique products for sale in the shop and great customer service! The staff are very friendly and more than happy to send a little bit of extra time when wrapping fragile gifts

Great selection of deliciously healthy ostrich meat, different ostrich prices and local specialities. Located in a silo factory. Well worth a visit and the coffee shop is also good.

The emporium is nicely set out with top quality products on sale. However, being local, I found some of the prices very high. One word of advice is that I ask you to put all signs, labels etc in English as well as Afrikaans. Just remember that tourists don't understand Afrikaans.

Don't bother to visit the coffeeshop at the Emporium.. we waited more than 10 minutes for 2 take away coffees.
The leather products very expensive and the meat products are cheaper at the small garage shop next to the kleinkaroo agri.

The Klein Karoo Ostrich Emporium offers a large variety on goods made from ostrich. Starting with meat and continuing with leather goods to other stuff.
The workshop is open and so you can have a look on how they made all these leather goods. Especially bags, belts and wallets. An interesting experience for young and old.

We were encouraged to visit this show case of the Ostrich farmers cooperative in Oudtshoorn. Whilst farmer Bartle who we visited with put in a great visit at his farm, the Emporium that clearly was set up to show case the product options clearly disappointed us in meeting its objectives. The show case was well displayed and very pleasing to the eye but the prices on the product was eye wateringly expensive. Surely the objective must to get the visitors to buy and spread the word of the quality and value of the hard work done by the farmers. Suggest The Emporium reduce the prices sell more and get the visitors to Oudtshoorn to evangelise the amazing work being done by the hard working farming community under very trying conditions. Go get ‘em Bartle🤓🤓
