Spitzkop is the highest point accessible by vehicle in the Knysna area. From here you can see the top of the Prince Alfred Pass, George, Natures Valley, the Knysna Heads, Sedgefield, and tons of beautiful Fynbos. Stunning views of the Outeniqua Mountains.

If ever you were searching for a perfect picnic site Spitzkop will be it. Beautiful 360 view even on a overcast day like when we visited. The site is very well maintained and definately worth the trip and the gravel road.

I'm so pleased that we travelled along this little road while traversing the Prince Alfred Pass. Perfect views of Plettenberg Bay and Knysna and the Outeniqua Mountains.

We often took the turn, taking us to the top. Layers of colour stacking into the receding distance. Turning the collar up against the nip of the mountain air, sitting quietly letting the view burn into the everlasting memory files in my brain. It feels...More

Most panoramic views from Robberg to the Knysna Heads and more. Visit the "big tree" on the way and marvel at this monolith!

We decided to take a look! We were driving a VW Polo up a single steep track designed for AWD vehicles, but there was no turning back so we just did it and it was well worth it for the spectacular views. Interestingly we met...More
