Actually I thought that "Palm tree mosque" is the oldest mosque in South Africa but the Imam of the mosque told me about "Al Auwal Mosque" and it was really nice to visit it. It's in Bo-Kaap area which is very famous by it's colorful...More

Yes there is. During my trip to Cape Town I attended "Al Jumua prayer-Friday prayer" in the mosque and there was a separate place for females. I'm not sure if they do Taraweeh prayers or not but I think they have. Anyway... More
