Signal Hill is so named because it was a site for flying flags to communicate weather conditions, thus providing opportune vistas of spectacular views.

We went up there twice because the first time we went was a cloudy day, and the cold wind up there made us shivering. Anyway, we decided to come again one day before our trip ended. Many cars parked by the roadside as there are...More

Signal Hill offers great views of the city of Cape Town along with a large expanse of the Atlantic Ocean. This is also an awesome place to view a sunset. One can see Robbin Island (where the late Nelson Mandela was imprisoned) clearly from here...More

Great place to take pictures. Grab a snack at the snack truck or have a picnic. There is also a hang gliding runway at the top if you are brave enough. The hang gliding is done with an experienced person for approximately $100 USD.

Went on a organised trip to see the sunset and it did not disappoint. Lot of people having picnics so a bit of a party atmosphere. Traffic a nightmare leaving but still well worth the trip

A must visit on your list. I went with my brother and his friends, it was so windy which is very usual for Captonians. Mesmerizing view !!! Absolutely safe drive. You can enjoy the view with a cup of coffee and samosa.
