Good choice for an outing on a summer's day. Good choice to take children to. There are a variety of restaurants in the surrounding to choose from.

A nice beach to go past on your way to cape point. It has iconic brightly coloured boxes on the beach. It's well maintained and a good place to visit during most months.

St James Beach is wind free , even in a South Easter, Avoid over Christmas and New Year unless you get there early. Once again parking can be a problem as can an unreliable train service.

Just a lovely place to stop and walk around, play in the water a bit. A great stop if doing the drive to Cape Point.
