Good summer beach

We drove along here and just walked on the sand a little way. I would have loved a swim but the water was too cold.

We came here for a little photo shoot. We really liked it here, the water looks beautiful, even though a little cold (mid-December) not sure about other times of the year. The Sand is very clean and the rounded rocks that divide the beach into different sections (cliffton 1 cliffton 2 etc.) just look so beautiful. Plus, you can climb... More

It is a very beautiful beach but don't go there expecting to enjoy a swim. The water is freezing no matter what time of the year it is.

Clifton is a Cape Town beauty and a firm favourite among locals and tourists. The water is icey cold but brave it, its worth it!

Cape Town is already beautiful by itself ! The color of the sky, the views with the harbour on one side, the mountains on the other. The City itself. But when you go further and go and explor the beaches.....it is just breathtaking. Clifton 1, 2, 3 & 4 are just magical with their white sand, typical rocks (like in... More

Beautiful clean beach and very quite as compared to Camps Bay. I did find it quite relaxing you can have your picnic too.

There are four beaches which are part of Clifton. Each one of them is special on its own but it is worth visiting all of them.

Clifton Beaches (1-4) can be accessed while walking from the Camps Bay and the pristine beauty of the sea and the sand is simply alluring. Enjoy the sun shine ( with the sun screen) , walk on the beach and feel amazed !

Clifton 4th beach is beautiful, nice sandy cove bit more sheltered and not as big as Camps Bay so its a nice place for a more chilled out beach time. Theres toilets and outside taps for washing feet down. A few steps to get down and back up to road so bear in mind if elderly or disabled! No bars... More
